I was really craving some good Pakistani-style food and came across this Bengali restaurant. The flavours were surprisingly similar to Pakistani cuisine, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the beef and dal deal — both were delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The tea was also extremely good, probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth trying!

Authentic Family Recipes was a bit disappointing for us. We ordered the mughlai, balusai and samosa, but the flavours were quite average and didn’t match what we expected from Bangladeshi dishes. The food lacked freshness and depth, so overall it wasn’t an enjoyable meal. Hope they improve their recipes in the future.

Once I was very hungry and went to this restaurant and had a great experience. That’s why I kept coming . But more I came , It was more disappointing. Their service and food quality are very poor. The food is not fresh and has no taste. A few days ago, I went there for iftar. For $15, they served only a handful of items, and not a single one was good. Honestly, each item was worse than the other. I invited my friends and felt embarrassed after going there together.
If you want your business to improve, please focus on food quality, service, and professionalism. Otherwise, don’t just serve waste food in the name of Bangladeshi cuisine.

Finally found a good Bangladeshi restaurant in Perth. If you are craving for Deshi Chotpoti then this is the place to go! We had Chotpoti, Fuchka, Bhelpuri and Egg Mughlai. Loved the chotpoti fuchka. Portion was very good and food served hot. The space is not well decorated, they need to improve their seating area but the service was great by the ladies working there. Definitely visiting again.

Fantastic experience at Authentic family recipes Bangladeshi resturant. Food was beautiful, friendly service and great vibes all around. Recommended going for lunch on Sunday for the special menu with authentic Beef Tehari and Chicken Roast pulao.

One of the worst Bangladeshi food in Perth it is so disappointing that they don’t know how to cook basic khichudi and gorur mangsho .the beef was not even cooked properly ,it’s hard and the morog polao is tasteless .i was so excited before going there but as a bangladeshi I felt so disappointed.only good thing is the service boy who is really well mannered and helpful.

What an amazing find! It was very authentic! Had the roti canai set with dhal and chicken curry. The chicken curry was amazing and dhal was heavenly. The crispy roti canai didn’t even need the gravies. It was so good, it could even be eaten on its own. The teh tarik was perfect with right amount sweetness. The staff was very patient accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommended to Malaysian food lovers! Definitely will be back!

For my meal, I ordered a teh tarik which was okay but wasn’t the best (i believe), the lontong where the portion size was quite generous. The sayur lodeh gravy was slight salty (to my liking) but overall the meal was delicious. I added a few extras; like samosas and ayam goreng berempah (spiced fried chicken). I recommend ordering the ayam goreng berempah is a must add to go with your main meal (if it doesn’t already come with your main meal), the chicken was delightfully scrumptious!

This is a little corner shop serving delicious Malaysian, Singaporean and Indian cuisine. It is always packed with people and filled with aroma of curry. We ordered a dosa. Really tasty and good value. Recommend chicken biryani, nasi lemak, fish curry and roti. Should also try their teh tarik.
