$18 after tax for the sandwich and a can of coke.
Sandwich didnt have a lot of flavor. Too few ingredients on the amount of bread they use. May have been better with this amount of ingredients on half the bread? Almost no mustard, pickle, or ham flavor throughout the Sandwich.

I’m a local and I’ve been here twice. The food is really good, although I don’t really know what I’m ordering but I point and I say this and it’s always good.

The owner was very nice!!
My food was only okay, I was expecting black beans and rice and when I ordered plantains I didn’t realize they were not traditional, they are fried. The plantains were nice though, the rice was just okay, and so was the sandwich. I just expected more from an authentic Cuban restaurant being that I lived in Tampa and know my Cuban food! Disappointing that the food was wayyyyy overpriced, it was a $25 lunch for me alone.

Enjoyed their Cuban coffee and beef empanada …flavor of the empanada was good although it was served a bit too greasy for me. It’s hard to get authentic Miami style Cuban food these days, but this was a really nice and welcome treat. I would definitely come back to try another menu item and patronize their growing food truck business. Easy to miss so look for the Cuban flag on the corner of the used car lot to help guide you.

Do not recommend. Cheese still cold!! Dry! Didn’t have any pickles and the mustard was thin. Half-ass pressed. $16.50 is overpriced. Owner was friendly, though.

We saw the food truck at ferry park and decided to try it and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Cuban sandwich, steak sandwich and some fries and it fed our whole family! Mango shake was so delicious. Cuban sandwiches are my favorite but I’m shocked to say the steak sandwich may have been better because it was seasoned so perfectly and had fun little crispy potatoes in it. Definitely check this place out

I ordered the Cuban sandwich. The cashier was nice and the food was prepared quickly. However, the sandwich wasn’t very good. The bread was soft, but the pork was pretty dry and lacked flavor. I’ve had much better for less money. I’m hoping it was just a bad day. I am willing to try again.

Not overly impressed to be honest. 15 bucks for a sandwich wrapped in paper towels and placed in a brown paper bag. Only selection for drinks were coke and water. Maybe I got there after the lunch rush hour, but given that this was a Monday, I’d be afraid to order towards the end of the week.
Food quality was decent. Bread was soft, steak was seasoned appropriately. Maybe cut the sandwich in half?
Been waiting for good Cuban food, was sadly disappointed. Not many options locally, hopefully they improve.

El Cubanazo offers a taste of authentic Cuban cuisine without breaking the bank. The Cuban sandwiches were satisfying, and the mango juice provided a refreshing accompaniment. The food was freshly prepared, and the owner’s friendly demeanor added to the experience. The sandwiches were quite big and we had left overs.
