A hidden gem in Yuma. The restaurant is located within the grounds of a museum and occupies one of its buildings. It is reminiscent of a classic
Italian bistro and the ever-present owner Mario is an incredible host overseeing all aspects of guest service. The photo of him in his youth riding a wheelie on a Vespa scooter on the back of the menu says it all.
The menu is simple and classic. The prosciutto and melon appetizer was delicious, especially with the local melons. We split a Cacio e Pepe pizza and again, this was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Pricing was reasonable and both indoor and outdoor seating is available. The expansive lawns and grounds of the museum makes a very quiet and intimate dining setting.

We arrived very late, close to closing time, yet the owner was incredibly understanding and the whole team went out of their way to make sure we could still eat and enjoy a proper meal. That alone deserves appreciation. The pizza was outstanding. You can immediately tell the ingredients are high quality, many of them imported from Italy, and the difference is obvious in both flavor and texture. The crust was excellent, firm and perfectly baked, exactly how real Italian pizza should be. Truly authentic flavors and warm hospitality. A place we would happily return to and recommend without hesitation.

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic meal here, starting with two mouthwatering pizzas that were perfectly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! We also had two delicious salads that were light yet flavorful, they complemented our pizzas.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist the tiramisu, and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS! Light, creamy, and just the right balance of sweetness, it was the perfect ending to our meal.

Autentico Sapore indeed! I’m so glad I finally ventured over. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The warm atmosphere inside can’t be beat, friendly staff immediately greet you amongst wine filled walls and Italian treats all around.
Located inside the Quarter Master Depot (Colorado River State Historic Park) you get to dine in a historic building that has been beautifully redone to feature this Italian venue. Mario’s clear goal is to bring the authentic flavors of his home to you, here in Yuma.
My mom and I shared the veggie salad, caprese antipasti (comes with delicious bread) , and a slice each from the slice menu. The textures and portions were just right (no watery or oversalted dishes here!)
There’s a great selection of Italian wines, and they even do wine tasting events! I’ll be back sooner than later.

10/10 would recommend. My wife and I had dinner there last night and pleasantly surprised would be quite the understatement!
We shared a Salmone Affumicato and a Sopressata Pinsa. Both cooked to perfection and you could taste the authenticity and care that was put into every dish.
We finished it off with a Tiramisu that was out of sight! That’s coming from someone who normally doesn’t care for Tiramisu, and I guarantee I’ll be getting another one next time.
All in all, fantastic experience and we will be back again and again. The cozy homey atmosphere, great food, awesome staff made it a great night. Was a pleasure chatting with the Owner as he went around making everyone feel welcome and attended to as well.

An amazing hidden gem that I need all of Yuma to know about. One of the best restaurants in Yuma by far, the owner was amazing and the food was great. The Burrata á prosciutto was great and their specialty dish lasagna was a HUGE portion and so delicious. The tiramisu is also phenomenal. Definitely a must try and will be returning as often as I can.
