Very good hot dogs and shakes. Seems like a well run family business. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time. Will be looking forward to a motorcycle trip up north when the weather gets better for another stop.

Man this place just tastes like childhood to me. We left the area but were recently going back through and we stopped at Austin’s. I’m happy to say that outside of the new building, not much has changed. These are still the amazing franks and fries that I had as a kid. Every bite tasted like I was 8 years old again going to Bland’s Park (real ones will remember).

If you’re driving by Tipton and you enjoy hot dogs, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Austin’s Texas Hotdogs are why we drive over an hour and a half to eat here!

One word, YUM! Eating here will take you back to simpler days of walking DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, enjoying the sunshine, and reminiscing about how people used to be kind to one another, smile, and have fun.

This place is the real deal ! Takes me back to the days they were located along old 220. Very clean facility, good hot food, fresh cut fries and ice cream. Staff was very friendly and checked to make sure everything was good. James and his team do an excellent job and don’t have that I don’t care attitude . Keep up the great work

Since I was a kid we have been eating their texas hot dogs. Sorry for those who had a bad experience, however, I have not. I believe they are still the same great dogs I’ve been getting for years. Service is fast and awesome. Still the 1st place we think of when our grand babies want a hot dog. Again, sorry for those who may may had a bad experience but myself and family have had great food there. Keep doing what your doing. Great dogs

Hot dogs were tough and did not taste the same as they usually do.

We always like to stop when we are in the area.

Got takeout there today and the hotdogs were rubbery and tough. Not their regular hotdogs. Hope they didn’t go cheaper .

If you want to visit the worst hot dog restaurant in Pennsylvania look no further. Texas hot dogs, lived in Texas all my life and this ain’t no Texas hot dog, it’s a sales gimmick.

Insides were somewhat clean, dirty tables were the only available when I arrived however.

Hot dogs were absolutely nothing special, loaded with onions? $1 each would be reasonable for these bland hotdogs, I got a chili dog with cheese as well.. same story. Bland and boring.. I’ve had better gas station hot dogs folks.

Cherry on the icing is the pricing as everyone else has mentioned. $2.00 for a hot dog and add chess $2.30 each. Tiny soda cups and NO REFILLS! I just paid $8 for two hot dogs a small cup of fries (best thing they have) and a sample of soda.

If you want to see how a real hot dog place makes and treats customers visit Brighton hot dog shoppe in cranberry pa. Look at their reviews too, best hot dogs in the state fully loaded with cheese for $1.55 each. This place is a joke, the only thing keeping this place alive is the amusement park and desperate locals, don’t make my mistake and ignore the reviews, I regret coming here.
