We’ve eaten here close to a dozen times. Food is always fresh and delicious. I had their mango unsweetened tea (comes sweetened, too), it was refreshing. My husband had the brussel sprouts salad with shrimp. I had a burger without the bun. Burger was overcooked (ordered medium well). Burgers definitely could be better (a better blend and hand formed). I had veggies instead of fries…very tasty.

The food was excellent & our server was sweet & as attentive as possible; but our greater than an hour wait made us nearly miss our 3PM Low Country Boat tour. They truly needed either more kitchen staff or needed an SOS for an All-Hands-On-Deck for seriously delayed table service!!! Our view of the grounds from our table did help though!

I had the harvest burger. It had a thick Angus beef patty, a thick slice of tomatoes, red onion bacon jam, and leaf of lettuce on a brioche bun. I asked for the patty to be cooked medium rare and it was a tad overdone, but satisfactory. The burger was very thick and quite good.

This is a GREAT PLACE. My wife and daughter surprised me with a Father’s Day Summer Lights at Night experience and it was AMAZING. Austin’s Harvest Restaurant had delicious eats, I had the Spicy Skillet Bowl and it was so good also had the hush puppies with honey butter which were to die for. The grounds of Brookgreen Gardens were so fabulous and the Artistry pieces amongst the grounds are so intriguing. There were also some art exhibits that you could purchase from artist that were truly beautiful pieces of artwork. I had a wonderful time.

Surprisingly exceeded expectations with delicious, reasonably priced food at Brookfield. Usually at places like this you expect mediocre, overpriced food. Instead, we enjoyed fantastic food in a beautiful atmosphere. We had the burger, dip sandwich, and penne pasta with no complaints. The pasta was not overly heavy and had perfectly cooked shrimp. Service was great but a little slow, as previous reviews mention – took about 1.5 hours total for lunch. They also have a kids menu, which was appreciated.

Great food and friendly service. We enjoyed sitting outside. The tables were spaced nicely apart. Both our starters, main courses and desserts were delicious. There’s a membership discount. We arrived at 11.30 am and there was not a wait for a table outside but shortly after, we could see other people waiting for an outdoor table. We will definitely be back. Love the gardens and the restaurant.

Service was inadequate. I told her I was gluten free and didn’t want the bun, lettuce instead. The french fries were flour coated before frying. Thank heavens my friend noticed so I didn’t eat any. Manager came over but not only did he comp my meal he didn’t even take $$$ off. NEVER going back there again

I am a local, first time eating here. Brought out of state guests that are “foodies”. We are all pretty picky… we all LOVED our lunches! The she crab soup was great, had Pawleys shrimp pasta and fried green tomato BLT. We all loved everything! We definitely return!
