We waited on a waiter 10 minutes. Then she served the people who got there after us first. The food was delicious and atmosphere was nice. I got the smothered chicken breast with loaded mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was more than enough food. If they could up the customer service then this place would be outstanding.

Enjoyed the holiday menu for Valentine’s Day. Called a few days ahead and we were still able to get a reservation. The service was superior. The portions were generous and well played. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to the right temperature. First time, but won’t be the last.

Unremarkable food and slow service – no idea why the ratings are higher.
Our server was nice, but as the night moved on, we saw less and less of her, which was really sad. It took a long time to get our food and when it finally showed up, there were lots of problems. The coleslaw was more like cold cabbage soup, the french fries were cold and generally everything was overcooked. Since our server didn’t return for 10 to 15 minutes after our meals were delivered there wasn’t really much we could do about it such as get hot fries. I wanted the experience and the food to be better but it just wasn’t.

Party of 12 got there at 5:10. Had one party of 7 in front of us. They had a section of 4 4tops and a 6 top booth on the side all empty tables. All they had to do was put 3 4 tops together for us . Had us waiting for over an hour sat 2 people at 3 of those tables after us. Told us still didn’t know how long after an hour of waiting we finally left needs better management and hostess ! Went to mikatas got sat within 10 minutes

The restaurant is amazing. Mile-high burgers, delicious fried grouper, cheesy grits, and crispy fries. Hubby said the oysters were overdone.
What makes a restaurant amazing? The staff. The bartender had a crowd of customers at the bar and the bar tables, and she had all the tables in the restaurant that ordered drinks.. She sure handled things. It was fun to watch her maneuver. She had a great attitude and perfect food recommendations.

They have outdoor seating. I shared the fried mushrooms appetizer. I had a grouper filet blackened and it came with 2 sides (I chose a side salad and fried okra). Food was well seasoned and cooked properly. My friend had the grouper taco.

Austin’s is a great place for a gathering with friends and family. Place seems pretty kid friendly. The setting was pretty cozy. I ordered the ribs. They were tender. My sides were Brussels sprouts which were pretty good. The okra was much to brag about. My rum runner drink was a little too much juice and not enough rum. Pretty disappointing. But the service was great. The server was very attentive.

I ordered the kitchen sink oysters at a previous company party they was delicious, I went back tonight and they were meant for the trash. The manager was called to fix the problem and was then apart of them problem. I couldn’t believe this lady took them away and admitted the order was wrong, she brought the plate back with something that looked like raw shrimp thrown on top of the same mess. I hope we will never have a company party there again nobody should have to pay $40 for the mess I was served

We were in town for a conference and they were giving a discount for anyone going to the conference. My husband and I couldn’t decide what to get so we got food to split. I got the tai tacos with seared tuna and he got the creole Alfredo pasta and shrimp and corn chowder. Everything was amazing. We needed something small to go before leaving for the airport and got the chowder again and it was so convenient because they had a drive thru.
