Great tacos. Great tortillas and rice and beans. The beef was so tender and flavorful. The salsas are good; very hot, but great flavor as well. The staff was nice and very friendly. The only ding was the wait. It took 25 minutes to get our food. They were only half full, but it seemed like the diners were waiting for a long time as well. We will definitely be back, but will call ahead for take out.

I’ve been going to Austin Taco House almost every week for over a year and they never disappoint. My favorite is Fish Taco. Very generous portion of grilled tilapia with slices of avocado and lettuce on fresh corn tortillas.You get to choose from variety of salsa. Delicious!

I stopped by to get some tacos for breakfast, ended up w mexican omelete. I gathered up some salsa to try, but could not stop chowing omelete w its own sauce. That’s how good it is.
Lunch choices look great. I will be back to try it all. And they sell their sauces in jars! Way to go!
I cant belive there are so many good mexican restaurants around here! And Austin Taco House is one of the best.
Its all you can desire: clean, tidy, food ready in minutes, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.

This was mine and my wife’s first time to eat hear. I got egg and bean on a crispy tortilla. That was so good. That crispy tortilla was a game changer. I got the mild salsa. It tasted ok but seems avocado based and definitely needed salt. My only complaint is they barely put any beans on there. It was just a thin layer, so that was a disappointment. I still went ahead and gave it 5 stars because it was still delicious. My wife got an egg, potato, cheese, and bacon taco with a flour tortilla, and she said it was delicious. We paid almost $12 for 2 2 item tacos and 1 4 item taco. Still feels a little high but not bad. We have been trying to not give any of our money to the big chain restaurants and choose to support a mom and pop place. So good, yall should stop in a try it! The Gentleman working the counter we extremely nice and told me Monday was barria tacos special. 12.99. Let’s freaking go!

Tried this taco place for breakfast since it’s near my job and the reviews looked promising. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. It was my first time there, and I try to eat on the healthier side, so I asked about getting a breakfast bowl with just eggs, cheese, and steak no bread. The guy at the counter was somewhat helpful but came off as irritated, which made the interaction a bit uncomfortable. The bowl ended up being $12, which felt a bit much for something so simple, so I switched to getting two tacos instead.
I wasn’t asked what kind of tortilla I wanted, and I didn’t feel comfortable speaking up, so I ended up with flour tortillas by default. I got one steak, egg, and cheese taco and one chicken, egg, and cheese taco. The steak taco was disappointing the steak wasn’t seasoned at all, and there was barely any cheese. The egg was the best part. The chicken taco actually had a good amount of cheese, but the chicken itself was also underseasoned and tasted pretty bland.On a positive note, the inside of the restaurant was clean, which I appreciated. But overall, the food and the experience just didn’t hit the mark for me.

I eat here all the time. Family owned and great authentic Mexican food. This is by far my favorite taco joint. quick, easy, tasty and i get along with the owners and their daughter really well as i’ve been there so many times. great place to catch lunch or even a breakfast burrito.

This gets 5 stars because of Value for Price. Try this: get breakfast tacos with eggs, chorizo, white cheese, with corn tortillas and add a little of both of the green salsas at the salsa bar. Undeniably phenomenal.
The other menu items are good (especially the Huevos Divorciatos) but this place is known for their tacos so at least try a few.
