The team was friendly and efficient, and I was in and out in just a few minutes, which makes it perfect for a grab-and-go meal.

Small counter service place, good pricing for what you get. If you’re familiar with Runza, the meat and sausage pies and rolls share some similar flavors to them and I’m a very big fan. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The sausage rolls aren’t enormous but surprisingly filling and for 5 bucks I consider that to be a pretty good deal! Next time, I’m coming back for poke!

This quaint taste of Australia is easy to miss when you’re passing through town, but I recommend finding the time to visit at least once in your life. Fresh poke with an impressive assortment of quality ingredients, meat pies, pasties, remarkable sausage rolls, sweet desserts, and drinks to match. The wife and husband who own Aussie’s Poke Pitshop are all around lovely people who were friendly, generous, and knowledgeable when I came in. As someone who never tried poke before coming here, I can confidently say that this is the place to experience the divine world of such a healthy, hearty dish. Plus you are guaranteed to leave with a smile – we cannot wait to go back! 🙂

The sausage roll had a phenomenal flaky dough/crust, a fantastic flavor, and a great consistency of sustenance inside that feels like it could keep you full for days. Despite the sausage rolls being a tough act to follow, the pastie was equally as appetizing. With a thick outer layer of dough, similar to chicken pot pie crust (but better), the pastie was cooked perfectly and was mouthwateringly good. The authentic squeeze tomato sauce packet paired nicely with both savory treats as well.
I think we spent ten straight minutes simply complimenting and sharing our thoughts on the poke bowl. It was hard not to love the intricacies of each flavor medley, the consistent yet surprising taste of each new bite, and the wonderful mesh of textures between each fresh ingredient. The amazing cucumber, the crunchy onions, the zippy jalapeños, and the crispy water chestnuts were delightful. The perfectly warmed chicken, the rice which was pleasantly absorbed in savory sauces, the tasty and subtly filling crab salad, and the grand combination of an abundance of dry toppings led to a well-balanced match made in heaven for the taste buds!

Very cute, small little shop that opened up in October 2021 in downtown Berthoud. It sits right across the street from Kofe house. First of all, thank you for coming to Berthoud, we welcome the variety . I don’t have to go to Fort Collins for some Aussie meat pies or to Loveland for a Poke bowl! This is awesome! The food is tasty and fresh. I got the beach bum bowl with cauliflower rice as my base instead of the traditional rice or salad greens. It was phenomenal. I worry about the freshness of the seafood sometimes with a lot of pole places but this tasted fresh and smelled good. Love the sauces and topping options. I also got a steak and mushroom pie. It was hot, fresh and tasty. The gravy inside from the mushrooms was really good, not too salty. They were all out of sausage rolls, that just means I’ll have to come back soon!. When the weather is nicer they have some seats out front. There’s a small picnic table inside where you can have a seat if you wanna sit and eat, however it seems most people get their food to go. Very laid back atmosphere, the staff was very helpful and sweet. Easy to talk to and strike up a conversation with. They offer a punch card in case you frequent. Nice to add up rewards and earn a free bowl. Their prices are pretty mid-point, 11.25 for the bowl and 7.50 for the pie. I’ve had more expensive bowls but I’ve also had cheaper. All relevent to your area. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
