Save yourself money and time. Bad food and horrible service. Ordered a t-bone steak and was brought pork. When brought to their attention all of them were quick to have a nasty attitude and continue to argue. Waitress continued to say it was steak and that it was because the quality of steak and that they were going to discontinue using it. Cook proceeded to come out and told us to come back to the kitchen to see the package of steak that we supposedly got. He literally pulled out a brown, old, starting to spoil piece of steak. Told them food was bad and they said well don’t come back. Asked for the manager/owner and waitress came over saying she was the manager which I don’t believe. The attitude and the food matches what the family owned-hole-in-the-wall restaurant looks like. There are plenty of other breakfast places here in Aurora that are great like Nikkary’s, Mothers but was just was trying something new. I know they won’t care about this review because they don’t seem to care about anything but at least I can save someone time and money. Go eat somewhere else.

We came to Aurora Pancake House for brunch today and everything was delicious. The food tasted very homemade and comforting truly felt like we were eating at home.
Great portions, great flavor, and such a cozy, welcoming vibe. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

This place is a block away from where I live. I stop up here sometimes. It is the old time Greek style diner with a extensive menu and endless cups of coffee. The owner is Mexican. He used to be a cook in the kitchen when the Greeks had this restaurant. When the restaurant came up for sale, he purchased it. As he should have. I have noticed they have escalated the Mexican menu selections over what it once was. I had a Mexican breakfast combination on special in the past when I stopped up here. It was deliciously Mexican. I will stop here if I need to get out of my apartment to clear my head. Breakfast all day. Daily specials. My pallet is the type that when I find something I like, I stick with it. For Aurora Pancake house, Greek style chicken all the way with Greek style oven brown potatoes. Greek chicken is not on the menu. They will make it so long as I understand it will take 30 minutes for this entree to cook. Worth the wait. I ask for my side salad to include tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese. Like a small side Greek salad. Again, a special order was no problem. The entree was enough to feed two. I had mine for lunch and dinner. It came with a medley of carrots and broccoli. I was shocked to see the rice. I didn’t really need it. It was the first thing I ate. Drenched in lemon juice and spices, mmm mm mmmmm… The whole plate was seasoned in that Greek lemon juice and spices combination. The server I had was great. Pleasant. As expedient as the entree allowed. This is a family place. The clientele is friendly. Always pleasant. A Hot tea can fill 4 cups. More if one asks for hot water in the cup as well as the tea pot. These are kind generous people. When I was off of work on a non related work injury years ago, they kindly let me stop in and, for tips, make balloon creations for customers on the weekends. Plenty of seating. The cashier situation needs improvement. There is too much time waiting to be greeted, seated, pick up carry outs, pay the bill. The servers carry this procedure out. Problems can arise at the register holding up the server from serving the customer. They are open to 2:p.m. during the week. Sunday too. And to 7:p.m. on Friday and Saturday. This place is not fussy. They are accommodating.

The owner was very kind when I showed up on a Saturday just minutes after they closed to get soup for my elderly father. He opened up and put together an amazing selection to go. My Dad LOVES all of their soups. The food portions are great, food is tasty, excellent selection and their prices are better than other similar restaurants. Staff is nice, sometimes a bit slow, but on the plus side also very patient with my elderly father.
Good location, plenty of parking, clean and cheery atmosphere. My Dad said “Checks all the boxes. It’s my new favorite place.”

The food was great!. The soup was so filling I only finished 1/2. The Crepes, if you remember the OG “ Pancake House” you’d remember they were known for the pancakes and the crepes and stuff. Well the review you guys needed is here!
The crepes tasted exactly like before but a whole lot better ! Everything was juicy, the soup had tons of flavor !!!! The fries had that same type of crispy ness as before. I wouldn’t have recommended it after the pandemic but since going back they’ve done a complete turnaround . My family will do going back ! I’ll admit the downside was the wait time it was 40 to get food but, we did get seated right away tho!
