It’s a real shame that I have to rate one of our favorite pizza places with one star solely based on the interaction with one of the meanest managers and possibly people I’ve ever met. If you look through my reviews you’ll see I rarely rate things negative which only stronger reinforces how terrible the experience was. In this case, my father in law turned 65 and to celebrate he wanted his favorite pizza. I volunteered to pick it up and my mother in law called it in. She verified the senior discount and told the man her son in law would be picking it up. However when I arrived the manager became irate and very unprofessional almost yelling and insisting there was no way he was giving the discount. His anger seemed totally unwarranted and I got out my phone to record an audio of how terrible he was being. I wish the file upload here allowed it. This was all over a small discount over what was a $160 order. He explained that anyone could say that over the phone and she could be lying. If this had been an issue he should have raised it over the phone. This man has also never heard of something called extenuating circumstances. And most of all, he did not have to be so unkind in his response. If possible, I will try to avoid sponsoring this business solely based on the manager. If Aurelio’s owner could please let us know when this manager is no longer employed there or publicly apologizes then we would be happy to resume our business there.

Pizza was burnt… both the cashier and maybe the owner maybe the manager in the back argued it wasn’t burnt… like come on guys where is your customer service? $40 for burnt pizza, cute. Will be disputing the charge on the credit card since the pizza went straight to the trash because “there was nothing Aurelio’s could do to fix it”

I wanted a pizza for dinner so I ordered a small well done 1/2 cheese, 1/2 sausage pizza. I was told it would be ready in 30 min’s.
I showed up with 5 minutes to go and my pizza was waiting for me. The pizza wasn’t really hot, it was warm. If that was it that would have been fine, but the crust was soggy, not crisp at all. I think they need a lesson on how to cook a pizza. They could ask their Portage location what they do, because they had no issues with that request.
I think I’ll take a break from them for a while. Hopefully they get their act together by then. If not, I’ll be finished for good with this location.

Pizza is average staff was rude and charged 5 dollars for a small slice because of the car show outside. Don’t go here you can get a better slice of pizza for way less….

Pizza was actually pretty good. BUT the guy at the front counter was rude and not friendly at all. Said we couldn’t eat inside the place and refused to give us sauce on the side. For cost I couldn’t believe my pizza came out to almost 50 dollars. It was the biggest size granted, but I don’t expect that kind of price from a place like this.

Pizzas was undercooked, dough soggy, barely any topping, salty overall. Weird taste ended up throwing them away. We had very good pizzas a month ago from the Portage location, thought I ordered tonight from Portage but I mistakenly ordered from the Valparaiso location. I will not be visiting this location again.

Whatever you changed with the pizza sauce, change it back. This pizza doesn’t taste like Aurelios pizza anymore. No more ordering from Valparaiso

The one in portage is better. Pizza barely cooked, definitely not very thin. Changed to shredded mozz instead of sliced cheese on the salad.
