I visited on 2-5-2026 first time at this restaurant. I bought my mom here to get something to eat after I took her to the grocery store. Award winning Mac and cheese with yams and oxtails. The plate that I got my mom got Mac and cheese with rice and oxtails. The food is good quality. The price is up there the most expensive plate of Caribbean food I ever paid for. The food is delicious the oxtails have a smoked flavor to them. I ate off of my plate a total of three times. Everything is together in a aluminum pie pan. The food is delicious. Pull up and check them out for yourself.

This place is inside the Municipal Market. They have lots of options to try. I ordered Honey Garlic Chicken. It comes with rice. Portion size was really good. And I liked it.
Thay serve halal food.
There is paid parking lot, however if you validate your ticket inside the market, you pay 1$ for 30min, and 2$ for an hour.

Food was decent in flavor but it was hard to enjoy after waiting for over an hour for loaded fries and mac and cheese… even if food was made to order I think some changes to operations need to be made so that customers aren’t sat for over an hour waiting for food.. we couldn’t even eat there because we had to get back to put our baby down for a nap so that long wait only to let our food get cold before we could try it.
Portions are big but too bad fries are hard to have as leftovers.
There were 3-4 people that got their orders before us and we were told the kitchen never got our ticket. I would say if you want to visit even if it’s not busy to make sure that you’re not in a rush.

If you’re ever in the Municipal Market I HIGHLY recommend Auntie Vee’s!! The amazing people behind the counter are so welcoming! My husband mentioned we had just gotten married earlier this week and Auntie Vee’s own daughter went back and gave us a free Garlic Chicken and Mac bowl! The food is amazing, the people are even better!! Couldn’t recommend more!

This place is severely over hyped. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and purchased the grilled chicken dinner which comes with two sides. We chose Mac and cheese with rice and peas and everything was plated together. We also had the peach cobbler which was way too sweet. The food looks more appetizing but not as flavorful as it could be. The Mac and cheese was my favorite out of everything. Also, the food was not hot although we waited about 25 minutes and were the only customers. Sold 3 out of 5 stars.

I got the lunch special -Honey Garlic Walk A Bowl. The lady at the counter was not very hospitable/ friendly. I was only told that the meal would take 15-20 minutes to make after I placed my order. Honestly it was not as tasty as I anticipated… considering the 20 minute wait

This Halal spot is THEE SPOT! Absolutely outstanding! Customer service was extremely friendly and they went of their way to answer questions and also to accommodate a special request. The food was freshly made and came out hot, as it should be. The very first bite told the whole story. The oxtails were so good that even the bones were good! All of the sides were just so good. Unlike many places, this food was very flavorful. There was nothing in the order that was bland or too salty. They also serve you very nice portions. I highly recommend eating here and plan to return to try other menu items.

Not sure where my original review went but I got food a week ago and it was FULL OF HAIR. It’s no letting me add all the pictures but yea $60 down the drain only to throw up. I used to love this place not sure what’s going on now.

Customer service was great. We waited about 30 minutes for the food. It was definitely worth the wait. There was no lack of flavor, or portion size. I will 100% be returning. Definitely highly recommend whether you eat halal meat or not. It’s just great food
