I had a wonderful experience at Aunt Vonda’s Kitchen Table. The service was great from the moment I rolled in until the time I left. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the music set the perfect vibe.
The food was absolutely delicious and you definitely get your money’s worth. The teriyaki glaze paired beautifully with the spinach and salmon. The salmon was juicy with a perfect crust that made every bite flavorful. The asparagus had a nice crunch to it, not soggy or overcooked like you find at many places.
And let me tell you… the strawberry butter on the honey cornbread took it to another level. Sweet, buttery, and unforgettable.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back for another plate, cuz that meal blessed my soul!!! Thanks Chef you did that !!!

The food was good and I’m willing to give them another try not sure if they were overwhelmed with orders or what today. The salmon was a nice size and good the mac & cheese was cool the yams as well. The only issue I really really have is I literally had no rice I will attach a picture but I’m very lost on why they gave such little rice I was really shocked. The place is really nice in the inside I just think they need to focus a little more on customer satisfaction I also waited 40 minutes I was headed to work I got there 215 didn’t get my food until 303. Small fixes but I am willing to give another try I just didn’t like the small portion of rice. I paid $29 for this meal.

The food was good; however my chicken wings were crunchy, but not seasoned, and appeared to be cooked in old grease. The catfish my nephew had was good, and all sides we’re delicious. Please be aware that ordering online will be at a minimum a 1 hr wait. What was disappointing was that it took 2 hours to receive our online order. If the update was properly indicated when the order was placed, it would have been a better first time experience for an out-of-town guest.

First time here, and I can tell you for a fact that I’m coming back for more! The service was great, and the pics and video of the food speaks for itself! I want to try everything on this menu, but for now I’ll give you a breakdown of what I enjoyed:
I decided to go big and ordered the pan-seared swai which came with green and red peppers and onions along with their mac and cheese and sweet potatoes as sides. The swai was light, flaky, and delicious! The mac and cheese and sweet potatoes complimented the dish beautifully, and the cornbread (not pictured because I tore it up, sorry!) was not dry and was just a great finisher.
My friend had the fried catfish with the mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. She was gracious enough to let me sample it, and all I can say is that I need to order that one day soon! The breading had some great peppery flavor that just brings out the best in the catfish! It was juicy and I daresay almost melted in my mouth.
I thought we were done there, but then I said to myself “Why not grab some dessert?” So, I picked up a carrot cake and a lemon cake. The carrot cake was solid. No complaints! But, the lemon cake stole the show! This is coming from a guy that doesn’t usually like lemon cake! This cake was moist, the lemon flavor was not overpowering, and that icing was perfect! 10/10 would definitely buy again.
If you want some great soul food, run don’t walk to Aunt Vonda’s! You won’t be disappointed!

Had a great experience here on today . Food was really delicious and the staff provided great customer service. Definitely will be going back again, this time when the live band is playing!! Very good atmosphere.

It was a Friday night and it took almost 1.5 hours to get our food and one member of our party got his in 2 hours. The chair snagged my jacket on the back and sleeve and I was offered 10% of its value. I will address this with the owner. Mac and cheese wasn’t made with love. Server was polite and patient.

Went last night for the first time for dinner with my partner! All around great aesthetic, fantastic service from everyone who works here. The whole experience was very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I ordered fish hoagies whiting and lamb chops and shrimp 64.00 dollars and the food was HORRIBLE. MY hoagie was not how I oreder it. And was completely dry roll was thick and not tasty and one piece of fish with a huge roll with thick tomato un sliced onion and un melted cheese. The lamb chops were over cooked greens were sweet and not hood potatoes were ok and shrimp was jumping. My 4 shrimp was the best thi g out of my 46 dollar plate. I did get a refund for my fish hoagie but I didn’t even taste my food while I was on the phone with Ms Vonda personally complaining of my hoagie. But had I taste my other food I would have completely complained about my whole order. 64.00 and we did not like any of the food besides the shrimp. Just sad

Me and my friend had lunch here. We got the fried whiting and chicken wings. Sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese. Greens. Strawberry cake and banana pudding and EVERYTHING was nothing less than amazing. She serves good quality meats. The food was fried perfectly. Of the many soul food places I’ve eaten from Aunt Vonda’s just became my favorite. Also the young man (tooka) at the counter was very nice. Customer service was A1 and he was very welcoming. WE WILL BE BACK
