We visited around 9 am on a January Sarurday. Parking can be a bit difficult, but there was plenty of seating inside.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered an omlette (built our own), Eggs Benedict, and a blueberry cheesecake pancake.

My husband is watching his carb/sugar intake and appreciated being able to order a side salad with his breakfast. I enjoyed my Eggs Benedict, would have liked a bit more hollandaise, but the flavor was great. I enjoyed their side potatoes. I ordered the blueberry cheesecake pancake. It was a great size for a side. My husband enjoyed his omlette (western).

We look forward to visiting again, and trying more of their menu.

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for brunch. Brooke, the waitress, was incredibly exceptional. She made us feel like the only customers in the entire restaurant. Her friendly and energetic demeanor was truly remarkable. Even though we were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary, she never even used her classic thumbs up signal to indicate that we needed anything. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much, Brooke, for making our special day feel truly special.

This was my first visit and I loved it ! Jay waited on us. He was efficient, speedy and polite. If you like a lot of food for the money then you are in the right place. My favorite was the biscuit (soft and hot) ! Definitely if in the area we will come back.

My dining experience was exceptional. The Cajun shrimp omelette with seasoned fried potatoes was my chosen dish. The food was of the highest standard. I strongly recommend Auntie Katie’s.

Atmosphere is a little drab and bland, no music to muffle the sounds of chewing, clanging, and the delightful noises of strangers. The decor on the wall has the tacky delight of a southern Grandma whose visits have diminished. The service is satisfactory but a bit on the humdrum side.

The food on the other hand is what sets this restaurant apart from other competitors. I got the Spicy Hoecake Burger which was a perfectly seasoned textural journey. The hoecakes were so flavorsome, delicate and fluffy that Kama Mustafa himself would have gladly added them to his late nineties train. The burger was seared to perfection providing a crispy layer and ensuring a gloriously moist center. The pickles and jalapeño’s were a playful sour and spicy crunch to offset the ooey gooey melty cheese. The Spicy Maddie Sauce is liquid alchemy, providing a depth of flavor and the theater of the dip dip.

The mimosas were amazing and there is flexibility to mix and match beyond the normal fair. The tequila and watermelon flavors were my personal favorites.

Some of the accompaniments surrounding restaurants may have are lacking such as the waterfront view. But for precisely cooked down home flavors served in an innovative and exciting way look no further.

This will be the most positive review I’ve ever given for a restaurant. So, my husband & I were on our 1st annual month long Birthday Tour. Our birthdays are both in December so this was a very special trip with high expectations of enjoying ourselves, especially now that we are empty nesters. While visiting our youngest child at the Naval Training Base from Dec 2 – 5, my husband chose Aunt Katie’s for breakfast. The server, Brandy was the best. We claimed her – now she’s family. The server we had the 2nd day wasn’t our Brandy, but she was pretty good too. We never had to search for neither server nor had a complaint about ANYTHING! The breakfast was HANDS DOWN THE BEST WE’VE HAD! We usually don’t visit the same restaurant twice while we’re traveling because we want to experience other places that we don’t have back home. I wish there was an Aunt Katie’s in every town we visit. I mean, the French Toast was perfect on both days. I LOVE FRENCH TOAST & GRITS! The cajun shrimp & grits were good, but they don’t beat out the New Orleans recipe. I had to add more salt to mine, but that’s ok. It was hot, a little spicy & the grits weren’t overcooked to the point of being too creamy. I don’t like creamy grits. The water didn’t taste fishy like some of the other restaurants. The dishes, silverware & table were clean. No waiting for a table. The restaurant is mid-sized & older, but the service & food was OUTSTANDING!
I would definitely go back if I’m ever in Pensacola, FL again.

Aunt Katie’s has been on my restaurant bucket list for a couple of years, and unfortunately we left very disappointed. First impression, the hostess sat us at a table that was literally soaked having just been cleaned (see picture). The atmosphere was too dark/dim and oddly quiet. We ordered the breakfast bowl, pancakes, and breakfast burrito. The potatoes with both dishes were so heavily seasoned they were too salty to eat, and the bowl had a disproportionate amount of sausage on top. The coffee was not good and there was only one creamer option provided. I will say, the pancakes were spot on and delicious and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I felt the menu items were extremely overpriced. We do not plan on going back.

I was impressed. So tasty and smooth were my grits for my shrimp dish. They have reasonably priced beautiful homemade crafted jewelry’s pieces, T-shirts as well . The service and friendliness of the employees was impressive.

The food was fantastic. The staff super friendly. I got Larry’s starter pictured below . It came with two fluffy biscuits smothered in some of the best sausage gravy. Sausage patty two eggs made the way you want and two pieces of bacon. The service was fast too. Definitely coming back here .

The wait on Sunday morning was double the time they told us. 25 mins turned into 45. That being said, the food was top shelf and the service was great. You’re not going to find a better breakfast in Pensacola.
