My husband brought me here for Valentine’s Day. One of the owners greeted us in a too small t-shirt and sweats. Asked us if we made a reservation or just walked in. The way he greeted us made me think that we were imposing. The tables are seated closely. All the entrees on the Valentine’s Day menu were $45.90 and apparently there’s an automatic 18% gratuity. Wow! For that price, everything should have been spot-on. I ordered the stuffed salmon and my husband ordered the lamp chops. My salmon was raw on the inside and the rice was dry. The garnish on my plate was pretty and the Mac n cheese was good. I was hoping to order shrimp n grits but oh well, the choices were limited. The server was good but obviously overwhelmed with tables. More staff would have been helpful and a more uniform look. I don’t think the restaurant is ready to charge Ruth Chris’ prices just yet. And definitely stop serving plastic cutlery to eat with!

Very disappointed!!! Visited this establishment today February 14th for what I thought was going to be a nice dinner on Valentine’s Day. For starters, we arrived at the restaurant at 615 pm and waited in line at the front counter for about 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to put in a to go order because they couldn’t decide what they wanted. Meanwhile, 5 other couples arrived after we did…. So we all were just standing/waiting in the front at the entrance for this guy to put in a to go order before we would be acknowledged and seated. Ok, so now we get seated at 630. Ordered two mixed drinks, water, and Philly egg rolls(appetizer). The waitress be out the drinks and appetizer out and then came back at 7o’clock to take our order. We ordered the stuffed salmon w/ asparagus and the stuffed chicken w/ seafood mac n cheese entrees. Well after waiting an hour, the food finally comes at 8 o’clock. I was very disappointed in the wait and presentation of the food. My salmon was not done( half way cooked) the stuffed chicken was bland and to top it off the seafood mac n cheese looked dry and burnt as if it had been sitting out all day and was reheated. We couldn’t even eat it. We just boxed it up and paid for the food and left. Spent too much money for a meal that was not edible. Only thing that was good was the drinks and appetizer( Philly egg roll).

This place was great! Nice vibe, it was clean, waitresses were extremely friendly! And oh yea, the food was delicious!!!
Salmon rice, asparagus and sweet potato mash with pecans – whole meal was flavored but that Honey Salmon was next level! Sweet potatoes, dang near like eating pie filling
Flounder, Mac and cheese with cabbage – fish was crispy and that macaroni was burnt cheesy and hot….first time I’ve been to a restaurant who’s Mac and Cheese was just like cooking at home.
Burger sliders
Jerk chicken and Philly egg rolls – that jerk roll was fire! You could taste the pear and spices in it. Gave a nice sweet heat to it but nothing over powering.
Arnold Palmer Tea – PERFECT and I didmt even want a tea but she brought it for me to try and I ended up with 3 cups of it.
They have a large space for birthday parties and live music as well. Bar are was neat and clean. Also have an outside patio which we totally overlooked.

I arrived right at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon to get brunch with a friend. There were other people walking up as I was.
Checking in was a little unorganized, in my opinion. A dedicated host wasn’t apparent, which is interesting considering they just opened for the day.
I was sat at 1:07pm while waiting for my friend to arrive. Faith, our waitress, came over at 1:09pm, and I ordered 2 waters, but she only brought one. Faith did bring my friends a drink when she saw they had arrived.
We ordered at 1:22pm. I got 2 cheesesteak egg rolls as an appetizer. I got the 3 whole wings with cabbage and mashed potatoes as a side. I also got aunt e’s spiked punch. In my opinion, the “spiked” part of the punch was missing…
The alcoholic beverage came 10 mins later at 1:32pm. Faith brought dinner rolls at 1:34pm
The egg rolls came at 1:36pm. They were DELICIOUS! I would return just for these, honestly. This was the highlight of the whole experience.
My entree came at 1:52pm and my friend’s food came a minute later. The chicken was just okay. It wasn’t crispy as I expected it to me and lacked flavor. The cabbage and mashed potatoes were fine.
The appetizer was wonderful but the entree and drink was more disappointing than anything. I would return to try something else. The seating did seem cluttered and close as well.

I had an amazing experience at Aunt E’s!The salmon, mac & cheese, and oxtail were all delicious — perfectly seasoned and cooked with love. Our server Lavern took great care of us and made the whole meal even better!
Also, they have a beautiful and affordable event space that’s perfect for birthdays, showers, and celebrations. Definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back ✨
Even the bathroom is gorgeous

We had a great meal and it was a good spot for a quick lunch. We will come back and do dinner here sometime.
I was surprised that they use plastic silverware, as upscale as the rest of the place looked, I wasn’t expecting that.

If you’re in Greensboro, you must visit Aunt E’s! My first time eating at this restaurant and everything was great, so much flavor in every bite! The salmon has this honey glaze that adds so much flavor!

OMG!!! Way better than I expected.I got the fried flounder with the jollof rice and garlic green beans. The flounder was seasoned and fried to a golden brown perfection. The jollof rice was delicious. The spiciness caught me off guard but it wasn’t overwhelming and the flavor was amazing. The green beans didn’t come out of a can and the garlic definitely didn’t come out of a jar. Aunt E’s is a certified winner. From the food to the staff it’s a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend giving it a try. I can say with confidence that I will be going back for seconds
