Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn – Staten Island was founded by Peter Marcolini, Joseph Pernice and Frank Santo in 2013. This location is the flagship location with two major dining rooms – our café and the main dining room as well as the bar room. Initially, Aunt Butchie’s opened with a bakery but it eventually became a full-service restaurant/bar. With a wide variety of deliciousness to choose from, you will be sure to enjoy the #MangiaExperience! We are located at 4864 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, NY by the Outerbridge Crossing near the West Shore Expressway and Interstate 440 – 20 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and 15 minutes from the Metropark in Edison, NJ.

Wife and I stopped in for a late lunch early dinner bite. Wife was craving stuffed artichoke So we started with a stuffed artichoke and the stuffed meatball and they were delicious. Artichoke could’ve had another couple minutes to really heat up core but was delicious. Nice and lite sauce very tasty.
Stuffed meatball was also great. We ended with artichoke rizoto and it was creamy nice chunks of artichoke hearts very good.

We were there last week for a repast luncheon and the food and service was excellent. Salad, appetizers and pasta course was served family style and they took orders for the choice of entree. I had filet of sole oreganota and it was delicious. The meatball appetizer was also great. My favorite was the fried zucchini because they cut it so thin, probably using a “vegettie” type of tool, and then fry it so it is perfectly crispy and light. I’m looking forward to going back on a happier occasion.

The experience was so amazing I didn’t even take the time to take more pictures. We had to wait for our table despite having reservations because it was so busy but we sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited. Once we were seated our servers were wonderful, food was amazing, fried calamari was perfect , bread hot and fresh. Great experience overall, will definitely return!

We went to Aunt Butchies for lunch today after a long absence and can’t understand why we forgot about it. The food is always awesome, even the bread and olive oil is as good if not better than you will get anywhere. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich that could’ve fed 2 and it was delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful, excellent service and ample parking. We will definitely be back soon!

Food was delicious and the restaurant was beautifully designed. The place was busy so that’s a good indicator. This is our first time eating at Aunt Butchies in Staten Island. We usually go to the NJ location. A. Butchies serves authentic Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it.
