Aunt Alice’s Kitchen – A Treasure of Homemade Goodness
If you’re looking for genuine made-from-scratch cooking, Aunt Alice’s Kitchen delivers in every way. This place takes pride in doing things the old-fashioned way, and it shows.
The pecan roll alone is worth the visit – honestly the best I’ve had since my grandma’s, which is saying something. Their pies are clearly made in-house, and the biscuits and gravy hit that perfect comfort food note that’s hard to find these days. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that hasn’t cut corners with pre-made or frozen items.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere has that welcoming community feel that makes you want to linger over coffee. The place was clean and well-maintained, and the whole experience felt like stepping into someone’s well-loved kitchen rather than just another restaurant.
Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates real, scratch-made cooking done right.

Finally, a good place to eat in Colorado. Bear with me, I cook my own food because on my opinion everything tastes bad and it is expensive. I tried all restaurants in Boulder. But this is a gem. Family atmospheric, cheap prices, delicious food. This is my place from now on.

SO GOOD! The vibes are so cute and the food tasted truly homemade and delicious. I got a half portion and wished I had gotten the full size (which never happens to me). Our server Lori was so kind and genuine and completed the whole experience. One of the best diners i’ve ever been too. wish I lived closer i’d come all the time

Stopped for lunch before heading to the airport, great decision! Really good food, great service. Very friendly staff. My husband’s cinnamon roll was as big as the plate! I had a half order of the chef salad. I can’t imagine a big the full order would be, I couldn’t even finish the half!

The food was prepared fresh and it had good flavor. I ordered the South of the border platter, and the portion was huge! The staff was friendly and attentive, I enjoyed the free coffee refills along with the delicious breakfast.

Ordered a chimichanga for $15 from Aunt Alice kitchen. Look and see if i got a good deal. I called them to complain about the size of my order and they said I was the first person to complain about the size and will not be offering me a discount. Sad

This is one of our go-to dinner spot for work dinners as we work rotating shifts. They have been amazing and I’ve been coming here since I was little kid which I am now 47. Portions are excellent for the price and the staff has always been friendly, caring and prompt. Attached is a picture of our latest work dinner, their chicken, bacon, avocado wrap is amazing and big portions as you can see in pic. It is one of my favorites. Favorite breakfast here for me is chicken, fried steak and eggs. I have yet to have a bad meal here. When I was a kid growing up, their liver and onions was my Grandpa’s favorite. I was not a huge fan of liver and onions but I have to say and Aunt Alice’s was one of the best I’ve ever had other than when my grandma would make it as a sandwich when I’d visit. Makes me so happy every time I order here knowing that one of the oldest establishments in Longmont is still in business.

Got steak and eggs for breakfast, ordered scrambled eggs and medium rare steak. Got overcooked steak and eggs. Steak had no seasoning, not even salt. $25 for this. The fruit looked old, the only thing decent was the pancakes.

We had a large party and were seated almost immediately! The atmosphere is clean, but cozy and homey. The service was super fast and our server, Aliea, was the sweetest! Very attentive and kind. She checked on us multiple times, always making sure we had what we needed. The food is delicious as well, and I highly recommend the vanilla cappuccino if you like sweet coffee drinks! All of that, and the bill was still surprisingly low! Very affordable. We will definitely return!
