I did not enjoy the food. We wanted milk shake but they were out of the chocolate to make milk shake. So, a few of us ordered the strawberry milk shake. However, there was more whip cream than strawberry shake. I mean, 3/4 of the shake was cool whip. This tells me they were out of strawberry too. I was very hungry so I ate some of the food anyway.
I went to the restaurant with my daughter’s family. I asked them what they thought. The consensus is they did not like the food. There was only a few cars at the restaurant when we parked. Yes, it is a bad sign, however, we wanted to give Augusta the benefit of doubt. I hate giving a place poor rating, especially when they might be struggling to make a living.
I do look at reviews of restaurants and try a place once. I expect reviewers to be honest with their opinion and I try to do the same. I have to admit that it was difficult giving the restaurant a poor rating. So, Augusta, I am going to make some suggestions.
The restaurant is nice. It is in a great location. The food needs some work. Inventory system needs some improvement. Guys, if you can fix the latter two items, I guarantee you, the reviewers rating will go up. As I always say, change the system that you know isn’t working.

Good value for the money. Fresh ingredients and courteous staff. We ordered an assortment of bowls and sandwiches. The curated bowls were a favorite. We will definitely be back.

Caught them several days after they opened, but I had no idea until I asked the bartender, because the staff was efficient and knew their stuff so well. I opted for the pot roast in the bowl and the meat was flavorful and fall-apart tender. I tried a variety of toppings and sauces, with suggestions from the kitchen, and was very pleased with the food. Cornbread was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Very impressed with the menu design and the clear labeling for guests with food restrictions and dietary preferences. We sat at the bar and tried several cocktails, all which were fantastic. The Raven’s Roost(er) was delicious and just sweet enough, the Southern Pleasure was smooth, and the classic margarita hit the spot just right. Looking forward to coming back many times and trying more of the menu. Really nice addition to the area and a great option for cocktails and drinks locally.

First visit to Augusta Kitchen and it will become a regular stop for us when traveling Interstate 81 coming home from a camping weekend. The patio is covered and dog friendly and the parking lot is large enough to accommodate our travel trailer. Plus, the food was excellent. After a weekend full of hamburgers, s’mores, etc., the Yardbird hit the spot. It was compromised of rotisserie chicken, arugula, spinach, brown rice, tomato cucumber salad, roasted beets, and very yummy dips. The staff was friendly and made good recommendations.

Very good food the loaded tater tots are on point! They have a full bar. Got the beef bowl and it was delicious, I didn’t even know this place was here, a lot to do with the location but will definitely be back to try the chuck/brisket burger, a local must try we need to keep this place in business

Couldn’t have asked for a better, fresher, healthy meal after a workout. This is the “vegan” bowl but I added pot roast. Incredible flavor and lovely contrast of the warm veggies and meat with the cooler salsa & slaw. The bowl is never ending and I can’t wait for the leftovers.

OMG why am I just finding out about this magnificent place!?!? The staff was very Friendly & acknowledgeable in what they were serving. I ordered a rib plate. Savory, tender & smokey flavors. My son had the chicken wings & they were just as fantastic. There’s also a bar here aaahh!! A good time all in one spot I can’t wait to come back!!

Tried this place from reviewers. Was recommended the “smash burger”. Let me just say that any “burger” with browning, soft lettuce and a plain bun should not be at this price point. The burger may need to stay in the kitchen, as it was not fit for plebian fare. Macaroni was served in a 4 ounce cup which is standard size, but as the picture reflects, not visually appealing. Self seating lends itself for me to wander excessively for a table without the previous night’s crumbs still scattered about the tables. Unfortunately, I conceded and sat at the leas/ objectionable table. I took 3 bites to confirm it was overpriced “western food”. I hope the owner, staff, and kitchen reflect on this review as this place could be much more than a drift in.

Weird toppings to go with the food, doesnt really make sense. Chicken is tender, cheddar jalapeno spread is just not what it adds up to be same with biscuits. Wouldnt recommended for food but the drinks look tasty and the BlackBerry lemonade was good. Just isnt the food for us and I hate my food touching and for it to all be in a bowl just throws it off. And was drowned in ranch
