I used to work near by and this was my go to for lunch. Recently visited and the quality has really gone down hill. Eggs roll were so greasy I couldn’t eat them, nothing but cabbage and a few carrots inside, they were like mush. Lo Mien was dry and had a bad taste. Very disappointed.. wontons in soup were not cooked but broth was good. I will not got be going back. Prices have increased but qu has declined.

Saw one guy go out and smoke then go back in and work with the food without washing his hands. Prices have gone up like crazy but quality is not the same as it once was. No seating to eat inside, has tables but not serving people inside for some reason.

They cook the food the way they like!
It’s very fresh with very little sauce.
If you want extra spicy, you have to ask for extra spicy up front and it will be very close to real Sichuan!
They have improved a lot in the past year. Even their bamboo shoots have a great flavor. They may have a new supplier.

Our usual Chinese food place has been completely shut down since Covid hit the area in March, so we tried August Moon. The restaurant has been in this location for many years, so they must be doing something right.
My wife and I ordered pork chow fun and pork egg foo young, with steamed dumplings for appetizers. The egg foo young came as a combination platter, so it had fried rice and an egg roll.
I liked the egg foo young, and the egg roll and rice were very good. My wife did not like the chow fun, so I tried some. It was OK, but not very tasty. The steamed dumplings were not that good either; kind of tasteless, but to be fair, they WERE steamed, not fried. The steamed dumplings from our usual place were always very good, so our bar is pretty high.
Overall, the food was good but not great, and I was satisfied enough.

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! Greasy and chewy General Tso’s chicken with a tasteless watery sauce. To top it off, it was ridiculously expensive. Will not go back or recommend.

Great food. Prices are a little high, but worth the price for the tasty food. Only real game in branchburg. Other Chinese restaurants around are sadly pretty bad. I would not go anywhere else. Good stuff…normally more than you can eat in one sitting. Big portions.
