We were traveling here from California during a New York snow storm. We decided to grab a bite along our way at Augie’s. We were immediately greeted with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere. We were visiting on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was $5 sizzles hamburger Monday. Their menu had a plentiful selection and had adorable names to match. We ordered A few sizzles, the hot chicken, fries, strawberry milkshake, the game over and the poutine. All of us collectively agreed that all the food was phenomenal and we loved that they had gluten free option for our kids, of which my daughter said it was the best gluten free burger they have ever had. Destiny was the sweetest and came out and told us the poutine wasn’t up to her standards and that she was going to make them again for us and we appreciated that so much. Having such an amazing staff like Destiny and the other gentlemen working, really sets the bar high for us. The decor brought the whole restaurant together and it was such a precious moment when they hung our children’s art work up. If you are ever in Buffalo, Augie’s is a must! It’s well worth driving through a snow storm to eat here. We can’t wait till the next visit!

Food was incredible. I got the Sonny Boy burger and added pickled jalapeño. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Also had the cinnamon crunch shake. I don’t usually drink milkshakes but, holy cow, it was good. The staff were great too. Cool place.

I would certainly give this place a chance. I came, looking for a burger and what I got, was delicious The cinnamon crunch milkshake was almost divine. The chili fries were slightly soggy but so good. The way it’s package probably has something to do with it. Nonetheless, worth stopping on Connecticut St and giving it a try. Staff was very friendly and the music was cool

We celebrated our family Christmas party at Augie’s and had the BEST time ever. They were very accommodating with amazing service and food! We had the best time ever! We used the party room for 20 people and it was amazing! What a great addition to the village – felt like family!

We were looking for a place open late after the Sabres game and found this place. The burgers are fantastic. The single patty burgers are good size and the double patty burgers are humongous. The fries were good and the servers were friendly. On our way out, we got made to order shakes and took them to go. These were also delicious. Fantastic, last minute find. Highly recommend

Came to buffalo for my kids hockey tournament and looked this place up. The place looked amazing and so did the food so we decided to stop in and try it out, boy, we were not disappointed! Customer service was amazing and the food was just as good. I asked the bar tender for a solid local IPA and that also hit on all cylinders. The best part had to be the burgers though, they had a budget friendly burger there since it was Monday and that was great! This was definitely the best spot in buffalo in my humble opinion, would definitely recommend….cheers!

Most garbage burger I have ever seen in my life. Dry as the Saharan desert, barely any toppings that were supposed to be on it. 16 dollars… What a nightmare. Do not ever order from this garbage place. Incredibly disappointed.

Good burgers for the price! Good poutine! I love the Johnny Ryan sodas instead of the usual Coke or Pepsi products. Chill vibes, lovely building. This was a good place for a casual date.
FYI if anyone is confused from other reviews: this location was previously Mr Sizzles. Seems like the quality of the food is still good even with a different name!
