Something for everyone for lunch. Carryover items like crawfish cheesecake from Palace Cafe were currently on special due to the temporary (hopefully) closure of the sister Canal St restaurant. Always a great view from the covered porch to watch the birds, squirrels, and of course the local golfers. Don’t plan on a quick bite here, as service is more unrushed and allows you time to catch-uo with friends and have uninterrupted time. The food is worth the wait. Add sides like hanger steak to your Ceasars salad and save room for dessert! Full bar and drink specials during the week.

My husband and I had dinner here for our 25th anniversary celebration, and we were not disappointed! First of all, the hostess (Daryanna) was accommodating, the waitress (Lacey) was attentive, and the managers (Marie and Eric) made sure our special time was memorable! Everyone made sure we had a VIP experience!Secondly, the atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and upscale without being pretentious. Even the restroom smelled clean and had the look of being cleaned frequently. Thirdly, and not the least, the food was so delicious and fresh that we had to share our approval with the chef! Don’t think this place is for golfers. It is totally for anyone who wishes to eat here! If you want some delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere and be served with attention to details, let this be your choice!

Absolutely stunning location to dine, outside looking over the golf course was perfection, unfortunately that was the best part. The food was rather disappointing. It took quite a while for our drinks and appetizers to arrive and then dinner came out before we were even done with the appetizers. Tuna tartare was a little disappointing, it tasted like it was cooked and not raw. Fried oysters were the best bite, great batter, crunchy and not oily. They were out of a few items so we ended up ordering the shrimp and herb pasta. It wasn’t good. The sauce was very watery and had little flavor. I don’t think it had wine in it but that was the only flavor I got and the pasta was a little overcooked. The burger was fine, nothing special. I would highly recommend this spot if you want to sit outside with a beautiful view and have a cocktail but for me the food was not something I would go back for.

We came to the restaurant after a long walk around the park (exhausted and thirsty under a summer day). Their staff are so nice. Cozy place.
We had 2 desserts and 2 cocktails.
Banana strawberries sorbet is fresh.
Key lime pie is creamy, not too sweet.
Perfect!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience at the Audubon Clubhouse for our spring wedding! From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran flawlessly. They asked thoughtful, detailed questions and made sure every specification was just right—we felt truly cared for and supported every step of the way.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The majestic oak trees created such a romantic and timeless backdrop, and the wraparound porch with the festoon lights gave the evening a warm, magical glow. It was everything we dreamed of and more.

And the food—wow! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. Every bite was exceptional, and the service was just as impressive.

We truly can’t say enough great things about the Audubon Clubhouse and their phenomenal team. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-run venue with top-notch service and unforgettable charm, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

Some of the best food you’ll find at a municipal golf course… or any golf course. Great menu, modest wine list and craft cocktails. Unfortunately, shortly after I ordered, the power went out in the neighborhood. My salad was delayed. I told the server I had a tee time and left. She came out shortly after to bring my salad, bless her heart. I couldn’t figure out how I was gonna eat a salad walking the golf course, carried it for 6 holes and had to toss it. Perhaps I needed a Geaux Cup. Great place for a 19th hole drink and snack or a respite from a walk around the park.

I truly did enjoy the food! I did not feel welcomed there at all. One of the male hosts were a little standoffish. Someone made a comment about me having my 1 year old there when we were being seated – who did not cry or make any noise. My waitress & her trainee did well, as I gave them a 22% tip! Thank you both! I want to give a shoutout to Layla for her hospitality – the only one who greeted me the first time she saw me & went to grab the host.

Stopped in for a light lunch after exploring the park. The turtle soup was tasty although a bit salty for my particular taste. I ordered bread service wich paired perfectly with the soup. The waitress was very friendly and professional, which I appreciated as a solo diner. Would definitely return if in the area again.

We found the Audubon Clubhouse by Dickie Brennan to be a lovely building and on a wonderful golf course setting. The decor is very well done and it is very comfortable if seated inside or out. The food is good, but not what we feel is outstanding. We also found the service to be very friendly but a bit inattentive

Did the so-called buffet lunch on a Monday. Party of 8. Four adults, four children. For a mere $700 , you too can enjoy the most mediocre presentation of food in New Orleans. My almost $100 lunch was a plain shredded lettuce salad with your choice of one dressing, see-through bread slices with ‘scrumpdiddlyumpshous’ salmon from the neighborhood grocery piled high in a mound. Even the store-bought cookies and brownies weren’t edible.
Nice view of the oaks though.
