We drove 7.5 hours and planned our vacation around coming to Audrey. Our entire experience was 10/10. The bartender was so nice and knowledgeable. She set the tone for the experience we would have. Staff were professional, attentive, and personable. The food was literally the best bite in every bite. We had the Chef’s menu which was worth every penny. My ultimate favorite was the veggie crisps that they made from leftover vegetables, and topped with onion puree and the most delicate flowers. It was mind blowing. The chef’s menu was A TON of food. This restaurant was the pinnacle of our trip, and worth all the hype. Go here!

We had such an amazing Valentine’s dinner at Audrey! The atmosphere is so fun and cozy with a really elegant feel. And the service is the highest quality of hospitality, our server Bryan knew the dishes inside and out and answered all our questions! The food was the best meal we’ve had in Nashville and both me and my partner grew up here. The staff and kitchen went out of their way to put personal touches to our meal and it really made the night so magical for us, thank you all of Audrey!

Incredible experience. The cornbread is maybe the best I’ve ever had, and I have been eating Appalachian cornbread for 30+ years. Espresso martini was just lovely. The sweet potatoes were simple and, yet, somehow the best I’ve tasted. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the poached trout. Every dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and I do not say that lightly. I often find myself disappointed and underwhelmed when eating out, but this was truly exceptional. Incredible atmosphere and vibes. The decor is a work of art. A real homage to Appalachia.

I really wanted to love this place, but every single thing we ate fell short. The “beef stew” was a mushroom stew. It had a sour taste and loaded with different mushroom, it was decent, but literally it didn’t have beef if in. The worst item of all was the cornbread. How do you mess up cornbread this bad ?
It was BURNT to a black crisp. It arrived at the table and you could smell it before you could see it, if anyone has ever burnt something in the oven you know the awful smell. It was dark black and charred to a crisp. I gave it a bite anyway and YUCK, burnt.
So I ask the server, is it suppose to be burnt like this ? He said “yep, that’s how it comes”
The kicker was we couldn’t eat the burnt cornbread obviously, so the server took the entire uneaten cornbread off the table, but still charged us for it.
I wasn’t In the mood to argue so I just paid the bill and we both agreed, never coming back.
We ordered light, and I’m sure there are some good things on the menu but what we had was borderline terrible.

I travel a lot for work and get to try different restaurants. This was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. We had appetizers main course and dessert and everything was amazing. Taylor was our server and was super patient and sincere with all our questions. Everything is beautiful and everyone should come here.

Stellar food and service. Really appreciated that the host gave us a tour of the upstairs, lab, and library after our meal. I will remember this meal for a long time. Recommend the scrapple, cornbread, and grilled collards. Cocktails were also amazing. What a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous art and an open kitchen. Wow

Our Valentine’s Day dinner at Audrey was nothing short of poetic. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere managed to feel both incredibly sophisticated and deeply soulful—a rare balance to strike.
The Highlights:
The Food: Every dish felt like a love letter to Appalachian ingredients. The complexity of flavors in the tasting menu was staggering, yet every bite felt familiar and comforting.
The Ambience: Perfect for a romantic evening. The lighting and acoustics allowed for intimate conversation despite the holiday buzz.
The Service: This is what truly elevated our night.
A Special Shoutout to Sophie
Our server, Sophie, was the absolute star of the evening. She navigated the Valentine’s Day rush with such grace and genuine warmth that we never felt like “just another table.” Her knowledge of the wine pairings was impressive, and her storytelling regarding the origins of the ingredients made the meal feel like an immersive experience rather than just dinner. She anticipated our needs before we even realized them—a true professional.
Verdict: If you want a dining experience that feeds your soul as much as your appetite, Audrey is the place. Ask for Sophie; she’ll make sure your night is unforgettable.

I went to Audrey for a birthday dinner and had a good experience. The vibe of the restaurant and the service was really great. I really enjoyed most of the food, but my favorite was the chicken and dumplings. They also had an orange wine that was delightful.

A great evening of food, wine, dessert and conversation with family. I tried a zero-proof cocktail – fabulous! The short ribs were to die for. Blue cornbread was so good. All the food was really good. Great atmosphere and very courteous server.
