Located at the base of the mountain passage this restaurant offers a nice ambiente. It’s a perfect place to have dinner after a nice hike (we did today trout de bombe). Service is super friendly and speaks also German. There is even a German menu available. They offer a variety of traditional corse meat food, some sweet water fish and also a lot of vegetarian options, even vegan. We went for the vegetarian salad and I had the corse Burger. My wife had the canneloni with corse cheese. The food is extraordinary delicious, and tasty. This is a must stop when you are around. Also for children a nice location.

The location speaks for itself – placed on a little plateau underneath two enormous pine trees. You will be able to enjoy your meal exposed to the montaneous weather. Once you managed to get over the view you will be served fresh and local products in a stunningly vibrant colors.
The trick lies in presenting meat stews in a modern and crisp style. Underneath beans, turnip and carrot you will find melt-in-your-mouth classic and unforgettable stews.

This place is great. The result of years of passionately building the business. Great location and atmosphere, super friendly staff. The food is not the average tourist restaurant food. Rather carefully selected dishes, local stuff but also some simple dishes that the kids will like. Most certainly worth a longer than usual ride for your evening dinner. Bonus: in the evening wild boars visit the backyards of the restaurant and you can see them eat there (no worries, it’s safe).

In short, I love this restaurant. Great staff, great food and beautiful location! It’s been a few weeks now but I’ve been meaning to leave a review. I found the place on maps as I wasn’t staying too far away and made it a purpose stop on the way back from one of my day out. I arrived a little early and instead of shooing me off, like some other restaurants I’ve encountered, they allowed me to either lounge or head down their private path to the river to explore, which I took up; it was beautiful!! I had a cocktail, salad to start and fish for mains – everything was delicious and a perfect last dinner for my time on the island. I cannot recommend this place enough, some of my neighbouring tables had the selection of cut meats and the steak, both of which looked and smelled amazing. Very good portions too for what you are paying. I very highly recommend this place.

We were greeted very friendly as we arrived before the kitchen opened. We were offered drinks to make our waiting more comfortable. The location is fantastic as it is in the middle of nature with great views around.
The host was very motivated to offer us a great experience, he tried to translate things to English for us where we had no clue and he helped us select our dishes.
They have a wood fired grill for meat.
Fish comes our of the oven. They offer a fancy vegetarian salad with Quinoa, that was surprising. All tasted great.
It would be really cool if they would offer fish from the grill as well. 🙂
