We didn’t have reservations, so we took a drive around town and stumbled upon Au Coin, tucked away at the bottom of a hotel. Turns out there’s some real history tied to the hotel, which added a nice layer of character to the whole experience.

We were seated right away, and from there everything went uphill but in a good way. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name to give her props but she has some interesting tats on her arm) was honestly one of the best we’ve had in a long time. She was incredibly attentive, especially with the kids, making sure they were happy while also taking great care of us. That kind of service goes a long way.

The restaurant itself is cozy, homey, and welcoming—exactly what you want after a cold day in Tremblant. Everything about the experience felt easy and comfortable.

This was one of those unplanned meals that turns into a highlight of the trip. Without a doubt, we’d come back again.

My friend and I went after snow tubing and the first thing we ordered was the French onion soup to warm up. It tasted really nice but I wasn’t a fan of the small slices of bread in the soup. Smaller croutons with additional bread on the side would have been my preference.
The lasagna was also made with a creamy white sauce, it also tasted very good especially with the balsamic vinegarette. It wasn’t was I was expecting to be honest but I still enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and the service was really good.

We stayed at the hotel above the restaurant and we ate twice here of our three night stay.

The first night, which we unfortunately did not take pictures of, started off amazing. We had the chicken burger and the salmon pave. The salmon pave was more than excellent! I could rate this 10 stars if I could. The chicken burger had the right amount of the sauce. We could do without the fries but they were better the second night with the Sichuan peppercorn mayo.

We also can’t forget the drinks. Ask for Daniel, best bartender ever. He was so accommodating and the hot toddies were delicious.

The second night was even better. We had the smoked duck and the portion of the duck was generous and left us wanting more of the barley and vegetable mixture. The pea shoots addition was spectacular and a nice surprise. The burger was yummy but the duck just stole the show.

The service may be slower on the weekdays so please be patient. This is a local establishment where the food and people are definitely worth the wait.

Bravo! The best place that we found to eat in the Mont Tremblant area. Huge portions. The chicken sandwich, fantastic. The mussels, over 3 dozen in white wine/creme sauce. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed lunch on their lovely patio – the Crispy Chicken sandwich had a sweet spicy sauce in it and was deliciously crispy! The Fish & Chips were perfect – the battered in a delicious crunchy coating – yum!! Pair that with a nice cold beer!
Service was very good – bilingual atmosphere. Un Gros merci!

We ended up here expecting basic pub fare, but it was so much more. The food was incredible, our server was attentive and it turned out to be possibly the best food/meal of our trip.

The braised beef was rich and tender, a great comfort food and the beef tartare was some of the best we’ve had. The kids fish and chips was generous and great quality. We did wait a while for the food, but the kids got their food earlier and we were quite happy to relax with our drinks.

Thanks for a great experience!

On one of the coldest days of the year (-35C) we ended up here after several hours of ski/snowboard. They gave us table choice and ended up seating us near the fireplace and turned it on for us without us even asking, making for an amazing, cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent, attentive but not “in your face”. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time and was warm, fresh and delicious. A late afternoon pitcher and some food was exactly what we needed. This place is our new Tremblant go-to. We will be back.

Great food but terrible service, if you’re not a girl or someone that speaks only French it’s not the place to go.

Me and my brother went and waited 10 minutes before the bartender/server handed us a menu, after we ordered food my brother simply asked the man (server) for ketchup he never brought us ketchup so we asked again and once again he never brought us anything but he handed the young girls next to us anything they wanted, and same with the man sitting next to us.

He definitely just has something against men that only speak English in my opinion because the girls next to us spoke only English but he was doing anything in his power to talk to them….

Cozy restaurant with friendly service. We ordered the escargot, lobster ravioli and prime rib specials with chocolate mousse for dessert. Escargot and prime rib are must haves! We had a great experience!
