This my second time here, and definitely easy going and great service for sure. Easy parking and small menu. The hole in the wall was cute and clean fills with baked goods upon walking in. So I heard that they’re known for the Pate Chaud and baguettes, and they do yummy. I ordered a pate chaud, a sandwich and a sweet treat. Pate Chaud has a great but small portion well mixed meat filling, the crusty pastry was mixed for me, top part was crusty and smell fantastic but as you voted into it, it become tough and abit chewy for me. The bánh mì, for me didn’t do much – just nothing special. The baguette was not hot nor crisp as you bite in it, it was just room temperature. The size is abit smaller then other place with decent price for it. The opera cake was abit disappointed for me, I love love this cake and it was just below average for me, abit sweeter then I would like, the bottom of the cake sticked to the paper and the cake itself was just fell like cake mixed from the box. Just nothing special. The displaced cakes look great so will come back to get them to give a taste another time.

Came here once before during pandemic when you couldn’t go inside to order. You had to order from the door. Back again and got to go inside. The owners are so sweet and super nice. They’re originally from San Diego!

We got a chocolate croissant ($3.95), almond chocolate croissant ($4.95), pate chaud, and pate chaud sandwich ($3.95).

The puff pastries here are so good. Very flakey, fluffy, airy, and big.I just wished the chocolate croissant had more consistency in the chocolate chips spread throughout so that you’re not just eating dough. Same thing with pate chaud. The pork meatball is smack in the center so when you eat the edges, it’s all dough until you get to the filling in the center.

I have to say, the banh mi pate chaud was the winner. Exactly like a cold cut banh mi with the pickled carrot, daikon, jalapeños, cucumber, and meats but on a puff pastry. This is made to order so it’s guarantee fresh each time. Yumminess in your mouth!

Good coffee and cheap/decent sandwiches. Can’t recommend tiramisu because it tastes like a generic cake with no coffee flavor.

We decided to try the bánh pâté chaud out of curiosity, but it was disappointing. It felt overpriced at $4.50 for its size—it was small and only took a few bites to finish. We felt it wasn’t worth the cost and nothing special. Additionally, the service could have been better; the staff member who took our order didn’t seem very friendly. The area itself felt a bit run-down and sketchy, which might explain the early closing hours. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Take your money elsewhere.

As soon as I walked in. My eyes lit up. They have Paris Brest!! A french pastry made of choux pastry airy, light, soft in the middle, and a soft layer of crunch the outside. Delicately sweet and rich filling of praline cream. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had one. Finally, I found a French bakery that makes it. They have a good variety of other French pastry. Here’s a list of what I got.

Cream puffs: very light and not too sweet.
Éclairs: same a cream Cream puffs
Mini frut tart: very cute and perfect for 1 person.
Vietnamese ice coffee: excellent flavor. I love espresso, but my husband likes medium roast. This meets us halfway. Not overly sweeten and not too rich. It’s just perfect.
Paté chaud: it’s the best I’ve had. I haven’t had any good pate chaud in the last 15 years. I could tell they made everything fresh with good quality ingredients. Even my husband enjoyed the pate chaud. I regret only getting 2. I could eat 20 if more.

My husband said, “we’re definitely coming back” if we were local. Overall everything was yummy. The highlight of them all are. Pate chaud, vietnamese coffee and Paris brest. If we were local. I would come here daily for their vietnamese coffee and Paté chaud. And of course, for their Paris Brest.

I believe they are the owners. They are very nice. We ordered a good amount of pastries. They asked us where were are going. We told them we are picking up food for the temple. He didn’t charge us for the 2 Paté chaud. This speaks loud to me and my husband. They are passionate and generous. We will be supporting them when we come down to visit my sister. We will definitely tell our friends and family about them.

One of our favorite places to go on Saturday mornings is to get Hot Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants. They are so very mouthwatering, even as I type this I’m longing for one!

Also one of my favorites is the cream puffs. These small pastry treats are just enough to hit the spot. I love these lil’ puffs!

The owners are just as sweet as the pastries they serve and you will feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. We keep going back because they are so incredible, masters of the pastry and such nice people!

When we miss a Saturday here and there they always ask how we are and that they missed us. Super kind and we love coming here.

My stepdaughter and I have this bakery as our one and only place to go for our pastries. We started going here 5 years ago and will continue to go here for a long time.

It’s pretty easy to get to, but can’t wait for the Newland construction to be over to get here faster, but we really are not that far. We call ahead and they give us a fresh bake time of 15 minutes and we usually get there in 10 minutes. We just can’t wait.

This is the best French bakery! And if you like strong coffee give that a go too!
