Today was the first time I tried Atwater Sushi. The menu has all of the prices marked out,and some items pictured are no longer available. I asked for Veggie options and was told the Veggie Spring rolls, and Veggie tempura are fried in the same oil used for the products with meat. I understand this and decided to order anyway. The Spring rolls were cold in the inside, and I put them in the air fryer to cook them thoroughly. I couldn’t eat them. The Veggie tempura was alright. I also ordered the Teriyaki Veggie plate, and the food was soggy from the sauce. The veggies tasted like they were reheated and not fresh. The Miso soup was alright. I spent over $30 for dinner, and the quality was not what I expected. The Server was nice. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Tonight I ordered the tempura veggie, all crab Volcano roll, and the Caterpillar roll. All are amazing! Today is the best so far and they are usually really good everytime.

The menu was about two-thirds blacked out, so there weren’t many options available to pick from. I ordered the Lion King baked roll and an order of salmon nigiri. Unfortunately, the salmon nigiri was slimy and did not taste fresh at all, and the pieces were very small (about 1.5 inches or less).
The Lion King roll itself was also very small, about the size of a quarter. I was hesitant to eat it since the salmon in the nigiri didn’t seem fresh, and after trying one piece, I couldn’t get past the unpleasant taste. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience.

Always happy to stop and eat here. The sushi is consistently good. Even the specials are very well put together. Had a dragon roll, San Francisco roll and a hot Hawaiian roll special. Food was absolutely delicious. Also ordered the hot jasmine tea which paired well with the rolls. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable and very helpful. Fantastic place to stop and eat sushi. They also have outdoor seating with patio heaters for nice days and cool nights.

Food was amazing, the rolls were loaded with sauce. We ordered the grenade and sunset rolls. Prices were very reasonable, $30 for two people. I also ordered hot tea I was pleasantly surprised! It comes in a cute tea pot with matching tea cups. One of the best teas I’ve had, i still think about months later.

I just found out we have Sushi in Atwater, and it’s delicious! They have to go and outdoor dining. I have tried many sushi places and this is one of the Very Best! The prices are reasonable and the staff we kind and courteous, they offered me something to drink while I waited and to carry my order to my car. So Far, Five Stars!

Phoned in my order of One Atwater sushi roll and two bento boxes with teriyaki beef. My wife picked up. Called back to complain and all i got is sorry we are closed nothing we can do for you at this time better luck next time. LOL. Do you mind reminding me what my options were at the time.

As of 5/22/22 they only do takeout, the employee said they were understaffed and didn’t have outdoor seating either. Ordered about 5 rolls and wait time was about 25 mins. I’d recommend calling ahead just so you don’t have to wait. Sushi was tasty and I got a fiesta roll, rainbow roll, and a few others i can’t remember. The staff was really nice and courteous. Will definitely be coming back when I have a sushi craving and am in town. I hope they have dine in again sometime soon.
