Such a cool shop! We always love browsing the great selection of gifts, gadgets, and kitchenware, and the wine and cheese tastings are a lovely added bonus!

There is a certain magic in this store. It’s cozy, the owners are inviting, and it’s filled with so many yummy treats and toys. As I was leaving, I told my fiancé that my dream is working at that store. I will be back!!❤️

This family owned business is wonderful! So many products!
Very pleasant folks. We joined a marvelous instructor to learn how to make fresh pasta. Josephine was exceptional! she had so much patience with my grandson, who just ate up the one on one lessons!
Thank you, thank you for a great time!!!

It looks like the store is closing, the doors announce the retirement sale. I used to like to buy wine, cheese, and unusual jams. Upstairs have more interesting items than downstairs. They still provide open container tasting, which does not feel safe to me during COVID times.

My wife shops there frequently. Yesterday she made a purchase and used a debit card. At checkout the scanner displayed there was a 50 cent “terminal fee” for using a card. Their prices are quite high to begin with and this flat fee charge is nothing but greed. They have lost our business I hope they think their surcharge is worth it.

Love this place!! My friends brought me here for part of my Bachelorette weekend. We had a wine tasting and there was a wonderful cheese imported from France that I loved!! Salt crystals within it naturally. Delicious. One of the staff made fresh tomato basil skewers to go with our wine. It was impromptu and they were very accommodating, nice people. I can’t say enough about this cute shop!!

Nice store for the location and items displayed. That said, some things are way too expensive! Many items elsewhere are about 1/2 the price.
I loved going there when the different oils and dips were out to sample. Yeah, then came Covid-19. No more of that displayed anymore.
Some wines have an OK price, but things like spices have exorbitant prices. Ambiance and location don’t justify those sorts of prices. Heck, we already have to pay for parking too. Soon enough, this place may price themselves right out of business with that business model. There tends to be a pretty high turnover for businesses in the downtown Portsmouth area, and this is a classic example of why this happens.
Words of advice: If you moderate your prices, people will buy more of your products. They won’t just walk around, look, and leave empty-handed. Time will tell. It always does.

There isn’t enough good things I can say about this place. They have cheese tastings, and meats that you can taste as well while at the store, so shopping here was a lot of fun. They have great products and great prices. When we went, I grabbed some things to bring back to my coworkers, after paying the girl who was helping us wrapped them for us and we left. We drove back to Boston which is where we were staying and then I realized I was missing one of the things I bought. I called them the next day and they agreed to ship it to my house so I didn’t have to drive back to the store. I was very impressed with the help that I got and how they went above and beyond.
