Loved this place. I went there with my friend and had incredible experience. Food was so good, we loved porkbelly skewer. My friend ordered french toast, it was awesome. Other brunch menus were nice too, cinammon roll focaccia was sooooo good-a little too sweet but it’s good to have once in a while! Restaurant itself was so cute and clean, loved the vibe. The hostess lady was so nice and welcoming. We will def come back here ❣️

I got lots of vegan options- thanks to the bartender Danielle! Eggplant dip, hummus, focaccia bread, mushroom skewers and falafel! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Extraordinary service and lovely ambience. Def going back for more!

Life pro tip: bring an empty stomach, add caviar to the (insanely good) carbonara, and don’t skip dessert. The service is warm and attentive, the pasta is extruded in house (!!!!!!!), and the cocktails are delicious (but strong).

Our waitress, Christy, was absolutely amazing, and the young woman who seated us was just as lovely. This restaurant has become a true fan favorite in our household! Much gratitude to the Simms family for continuing something so special. I’ve been eating at The Kettle since I was 12 years old, and it’s genuinely beautiful to still be part of this family’s legacy as one of its OG customers.

First time visit! Awesome experience. We popped in for an after work beverage at the bar. First of all the space is so beautiful, warm and very much a vibe.
While reviewing the wine list our bartender Erin came over to guide us thru the list. She made a wonderful recommendation and offered to pour me a taste of her favorite. It was perfect and we ordered 2 glasses. Shawn a second bartender guided us through the food menu and we decided on the chef board & Brussels sprouts. Both AMZING!!
When our food runner Christina dropped off the food she took the time to tell us IN DETAIL about every dip and the bread. The most amazing bread!! We will be back for dinner soon! Big ups to the management team for having a happy, caring staff that delivers true hospitality

New spot with a trendy vibe. The food is good, but nothing spectacular that makes me want to drive across town and bring everyone I know.

Great service, brisk and efficient. The space is attractive, and music is pretty loud, but you can still hear your conversations. Seating is intimate but not crowded.

Parking in Hermosa Beach is always a disaster, so plan accordingly.

I liked everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was very lively and fun, but not too loud that you couldnt hear the people at your table. The food was outstanding. Service was great. Everything was a 10 out of 10.

If you are looking for a showstopping meal to share, this is exactly what to order. My friend and I came in for a late-night dinner and were blown away by how every dish complemented the next.

Start with the Marinated Olives, briny and fragrant with orange, lavender, and garlic confit. The Wild Mexican White Shrimp skewers were bright and tender with preserved lemon vinaigrette, and the Brussels Sprouts with date purée and brown butter were absolutely unforgettable. The Spiced Lamb Bolognese Radiatore was rich, savory, and the perfect way to round out the meal.

Our server was quick, attentive, and made easy adjustments for my friend’s non-dairy restriction without compromising the flavors. Every plate came out beautifully presented and full of flavor.

The atmosphere kept a lively buzz even as the night wound down, and though our table filled quickly with plates, we still scraped every one clean.

This spot delivers on both flavor and vibe. Highly recommend these dishes if you want a memorable meal to share.

I’ve never had such perfectly fried shrimp in my life. Trust me it’s worth driving there from anywhere just for that one item! Again- this team knows great hospitality and amazing food!

AttaGirl was a restaurant I had wanted to try but after looking at their menu I was a little nervous because of the lack of gluten-free options. However, when our friends made the reservation, I figured I would give it my best shot.

To start the ambience was stylish and warm. Clearly it is a popular spot! We were seated promptly and greeted by our server who had a bit of a quirky attitude but it was fun and just the right bit of sass. I notified her of my allergies (gluten and onions) upon arrival and she was a little harsh with her delivery that – this was going to be difficult – however, she immediately went out of her way to see if the chef would be willing to create the scallops dish for me without the sauce, which she made happen and they were delicious! My husband had the Waygu steak off the specials menu and thought it was a solid 8.5 out of 10. Our friends really enjoyed their meals too.

The drinks were incredible—I had the Goddess of Agave and it was exceptional. My husband and his buddy both ordered the Oh You Fancy Huh… and had to get a second round. Although the seating was a little tight—it fit the vibe. All in all, a memorable meal with great drinks and great energy.

* I will also note that if I didn’t have the dietary restrictions I have, this likely would have been a 5 star review
