I went on a weekend and it was full. I ordered Tamdoori platter, Malai Kofta and chole bhature.
Tandoori platter was the best out of three. Well marinated and balanced. Chaap, paneer, momo and mushroom all tasted good.
Malai kofta was on the very sweet side, I would have wished little sweet but my kids liked it.
Chole bhature was big disappointment. Bhature were heavy and chole didn’t have delhi wala taste, very blank in taste. I did a review of Manohar in Vancouver and they have the best chole bhature in Canada so far.

I recently visited Atarangi Indian Veg Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. The Paneer Butter Masala was creamy and perfectly spiced, with soft paneer that melted in the mouth. The Chole Bhature was a standout — the bhature were fluffy and the chole had that rich, homestyle taste. The Garlic Naan was soft, warm, and had the perfect garlic aroma.
The ambiance was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were great and definitely worth the price.
If you’re looking for delicious and comforting Indian vegetarian food, Atarangi is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited based on high Google reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. While the Chole Bhature, Fried Rice, and Noodles were decent, the Dum Biryani was a major letdown. It was topped with raisins and a watery, sweet gravy—nothing like any ‘standard’ veg biryani I’ve had in other places in GTA. It felt like a strange mix of Kashmiri Pulao and watery Khichdi. The server told it is ‘North Indian ‘ style biryani. I have tasted biryanis in different parts of northern India, I haven’t experienced such ‘Atrangi’ style. The server was kind and tried to offer a replacement new biryani without raisins, but we declined as the base flavour was the issue.
Overall, it was not a pleasant visit.

The food was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The portion size did not match the price, and the taste was not good. The Chinese sizzler didn’t seem fresh and felt like it had been microwaved. The momos also were cold and didn’t taste good . We came all the way from Scarborough, which is quite far, hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately left disappointed. The service was okay and the atmosphere was nice, but the food quality needs lots of improvement.

The paneer tikka, naan, and vegetable pulao were good. However, the Manchurian was extremely spicy despite requesting medium. When we informed the staff, they brushed it off and said “this is how it is.” The poor customer service really killed the dining experience.

Celebrated my birthday at this amazing pure veg restaurant, and it was such a lovely experience. The server was very sweet and gave us great recommendations, and the service was quick and smooth throughout.
The food was super tasty and packed with flavour—just wish the portion sizes for the main course curries were a bit more generous. That said, their garlic naan was the absolute best! We had ordered from them once before for delivery, and the bread didn’t impress us as much, but dining in made a huge difference—it was 100 times better in person.
The ambience is cozy yet classy, making it a perfect spot to host friends or celebrate a special occasion with delicious vegetarian food. Will definitely be visiting again to try more of their offerings from different cuisines!

If you’re a vegetarian and craving some Indian food, Atrangi is definitely a spot to check out. It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant, so you can rest assured that everything on the menu is meat-free. The food is good, with a variety of options that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for something spicy or mild, there’s definitely something to satisfy your cravings.
The service is also great, with friendly staff who are happy to help you with your choices. It’s a great place to enjoy a hearty, flavorful meal without having to worry about anything non-vegetarian sneaking in.
Overall, if you’re looking for a solid vegetarian option for Indian food, Atrangi is worth visiting!

We had a wonderful experience at Atrangi! They offer lots of vegetarian choices, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely yummy — full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
A special mention to Ayushi, our server, who was very warm and gracious. She made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food and great service in Whitby

Food was average, one time visit. Service could have been better, we need to wait/call the waiter for table to be cleaned and to order food. We ordered soup, momos, tandoori panner, hakka Noodles, panner gravy and naan. Noodles was below average, overall all food was less on salt.

We had a good experience at Atrangi. Visited the restaurant with friends and were completely satisfied with the food and service. We were hosted by Ayushi M* and she was welcoming, humble and efficient. We ordered Tomoto Soup, Kababs, Chinese sizzler, Daal makhani, Panir kadhai, Tanduri roti and lachha prataha. Everything was upto the mark (if you like spicy, you can ask for it based on your capacity). The ambiance was nice too.
I highly recommend this place and would like to visit this again. Thanks Ayushi, once again for everything.
