I haven’t felt this moved by a meal in a long time.

Every dish was beautifully executed — comforting clam chowder, perfectly cooked paella, and tender octopus with thoughtful flavors.

But what truly stayed with me was the grace of our server. An elegant lady whose warmth and kindness added a layer of meaning to the evening. Her gentle attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed.

It wasn’t just dinner. It was care.

Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

We just popped in for Cocktails per recommendation of my son and his wife and it did not disappoint. As we sat at the bar, serviced by Jessica—-what a hoot—-we enjoyed with much a do, the Chef’s working their magic in the kitchen. We are returning in November to celebrate my husband’s birthday to partake in the fruits of their fine skills!
Update; we returned for a spectacular dining experience.
Starter’s; an exquisite Scotch Egg, then we ordered another one, they were over the top DELICIOUS! For main course; Paella for 2❣️Fantastically presented and authentically made to perfection. WOW!
If you live in the Seattle Metro Area? This is definitely a destination location eating establishment with top notch service too, boot.
And the bartender, Jennifer, works it like an Artiste. Those cocktails are mind blowing delights that are sure to compliment your meal choices. LOVE, A-Town, Bistro!

My father-in-law couldn’t stop praising the food at the restaurant — everything was delicious, though the clam chowder was a little too salty, both the soup and the pork. We also felt that the dessert menu should have been presented earlier, as we were too full by the time we saw it to order anything sweet.

The staff were professional and very attentive. When a baby high chair was unavailable, they went the extra mile to find a suitable alternative. They also took the time to explain which plates were meant for which dishes and made sure to check in with us about how the food was.

Another lovely touch: the children’s menu was presented in the form of a storybook. While waiting for the food, I let my daughter read it. When the staff noticed she was getting bored reading the same book, they thoughtfully brought us two more storybooks. It was a very sweet gesture that made us feel well cared for.

Overall, a thoughtful and well-trained team that made the experience very pleasant.

Had a great time at the Eventide Countertop Food Tour! The salmon cake was especially delicious. They were very flexible with the accompanying drinks.

This is some of the best food I have ever had in WA State. I don’t know where to begin. The Scottish egg, amazing, the French onion soup, as spectacular as it was scalding. I am so glad we stopped here. This place was amazing.

We’ve been here a dozen times, and it will never be enough. Wonderful cooking going on here. It’s challenging to branch out beyond the clam chowder or the paella, but other dishes are also spectacular. The setting is relaxed. The service is engaged at a delightfully human level. The wine pairing is accurate every time. This is one of our time favorite restaurants anywhere in the world.

Hands down the best clam chowder I have EVER had. I just wish they served it by the gallon.. you will too. The smoked duck toast was perfectly paired with smooth ricotta and macerated fig, giving just a touch of sweetness to balance out the savory. Experience was great. The ambiance was a quaint boutique feel and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Food came out very quickly, we were able to pop in and out in under an hour as we had an excursion to get to. If you have the opportunity to be waited on by Jessica, your experience will even better. She was all smiles and friendly vibes the whole time.

Really charming and cozy spot especially if you get caught in the rain. I’d recommend the French onion soup if that happens! Drinks were delicious too and a great selection.

Duck confit came crispy on the skin with tender meat underneath. Sides of braised greens and polenta balanced the richness nicely. The bistro has exposed brick walls and a small bar area where you can watch the open kitchen action. We went on a quieter Tuesday and the vibe felt relaxed.
