We had a fantastic lunch here today! This place has a cool and relaxing atmosphere, and the guy behind the sushi counter took great care of us. We had some miso soup, seaweed salad, and an assortment of hand rolls. The soup was solid and the seaweed salad was delicious – honestly one of our favorite parts of the meal. The rolls were all very good; the fish was fresh, and each roll highlighted the taste of the fish without overwhelming it with other sauces and flavors. The standout was the sea bream hand roll that they were serving today, which was INCREDIBLE. Next time, I may just order as many of those as possible!

We ordered 5 different hand rolls from the list.
With the top being my most favorite.
– spicy garlic tuna
– jalapeño yellowtail
– ATO special tube
– blue crab
– truffle salmon
As for appetizers we got the ATO beef patty and also the assorted skewers which I recommend.
The Service:
Great service. Food came out at a good pace.
The Atmosphere:
We came an hour before they closed. It’s a new place but I could see it being a good place to chill with good vibes.
Overall:
It’s not like a traditional coned shape hand roll. It’s more like a half sushi roll that’s not cut which makes it easier to eat. I recommend this place for couples or a few friends that just want a chill night out.
Parking:
Lots of parking in small strip mall.

I recently visited Ato Handroll Bar and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the special, which came with miso soup, edamame, and a choice of five hand rolls. I chose the Magnolia, Orangethorpe, Eel, Ato Tuna, Blue Crab, and Hokkaido Scallop rolls — each one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The ingredients tasted incredibly high quality, and the balance of textures in each roll was spot on. The yuzu sauce is so delicious. The yuzu lemonade was so refreshing!
I also ordered the shrimp tempura on the side, and it was perfectly crispy without being greasy a great addition to the meal.
The miso soup and edamame were simple but satisfying starters that complemented the main dishes well. The atmosphere at Ato was welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive.

This is a brand new hand roll bar that popped up in Fullerton. We came in for lunch on a Saturday. The service was so nice and friendly. The prices are very budget friendly, and the fish quality is very fresh. It’s honestly very affordable: the lowest set menu is 4 hand rolls for $22. Hand rolls a la carte are about $6 each.
My favorite rolls were the blue crab hand roll and the truffle salmon hand roll. The crab was very fresh and crabby. The truffle salmon was clean and had a strong truffle taste. They also let us try a new yuzu sauce that isn’t on the menu yet. It was very yummy – bright yuzu flavor with a hint of spiciness. Honestly, everything yuzu here is very good. The yuzu lemonade, the yuzu sauce, and yuzu sorbet – you can definitely taste the yuzu in everything.
The restaurant is very nice and modern. If there is a business that deserves to succeed, it’s this one. Definitely check them out!

Super cute vibe. You’re literally sitting at a bar and order as you like. We had salmon, yellowtail, eel, spicy tuna w chips and Agassi tofu. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted so good. The seaweed was crisp which means it’s fresh. Three of us dined and wouldn’t recommend more than that in a party.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and it was the best thing to happen during my husband’s and I’s visit to Anaheim. We’ve been to Japan, and this meets that standard. The Handrolls were full, held together, and the flavor profiles were delicious. All seafood we tried were fresh, and it was truly so filling. Get the 6 Handrolls Option and ENJOY the taste and experience!! Highly recommend: Bluefin Tuna, Kampachi, Halibut, Scallop, and Bluecrab.

Been here a few times. Food has always been good quality. They recently re-did their menu; you get to pick which handrolls you want in their set now which is nice. Since my little one only eats the crab rolls, I can get the 4 piece set with all crab rolls and save a little bit vs buying them individually. Very nice little feature over other handroll places where the sets come with specific handrolls only. Staff and chefs are always nice and friendly and will accommodate preferences. Will definitely keep coming back.

This handroll bar is hands down a great place to come and enjoy a fresh and crispy experience. The place does not have a fishy smell which tells me it’s high quality meat. Sea weed was top of the line crispy. Drinks were amazing and refreshing, highly recommend the Ato Lemonade, althoughthe others were also amazing. I have visited Japan, and this place took me back with the delicious food they offered. I will be coming back here, prices are good compared to other handroll bars. The employees and the manager came out to greet us. Such a great service.
