Food is always tasty and well prepared. Service, on my visits, has been top notch, and I’ve been eating here for the past 15 years. Oysters are a main focus and will not disappoint. We prefer dining inside, but they have a nice deck with marina view.

Above anything else the value for the oyster dinners are insanely cheap, it is priced liked the 90s, and I’m about that life. There is some real technical skill in the kitchen from Chef Jason and staff. Personally on a “5” course menu I would argue most people shouldn’t love every item. The Chef should push ingredients and combinations the average patron has not experienced before. Some will work, others may fall flat, but the fun is in the newness and excitement therein. For example, I don’t like raw oysters. However, people should still push through even if one course is outside of their comfort zone.

The biggest downside is the dinner doesn’t run smooth after the meal is done. The reservation should have you pay up front so upon completion you don’t have to wait and settle up checks with everyone else.

With the quality and quantity of food and drink, plus guest speakers throughout the meal, I would highly recommend this dinner to everyone.

We went to Fish House and was sent here because of the long wait. The food was pretty good. I loved my shrimp and the green beans and the shrimp tempura sushi. Hubby’s gumbo was really good. I wish the California roll had roe on it.

My kids had the grilled fish meal with mashed potatoes. $10 for a kids grilled fish meal is pretty pricey.

I did not like the grits. It was my fault. I didn’t realize they were rice grits vs corn grits. I was not a fan of the fluffy texture.

My husband loved his old fashioned. My margarita was okay.

Total bill was $165 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We went at night and it was too cold to sit outside for us however they do have lots of outdoor heaters and plastic that blocks the wind if you want to sit outside.

Our server was very nice and attentive. Zero issues with her.

Last night was amazing. My wife and I did our Valentine’s Day dinner at The Oyster House. Went a day early so we didn’t have to fight with long waits and crowds today. We were seated in under 10 minutes.

Dinner was amazing. The server, Anthony, was an awesome young man. Super knowledgeable of the menu. He was attentive, friendly, and made the experience awesome. Top notch service.

The food. Next level. The oyster sampler was epic. I got the Seared Red Snapper with rustic smoked gouda mashed potatoes, baby green beans, white wine-lemon butter. She had the Girl Next Door jumbo Gulf shrimp, C & D Mill stone-ground brie rice grits, roasted local corn, house-smoked tasso, lemon leek cream. Both dishes were out of this world.

The dessert was a Valentine’s trio. Those “oysters” were white chocolate. A perfect end to an amazing meal.

If you’re ever in Pensacola, stop by the Oyster House. You’ll have a meal that makes a memory. Five stars all the way.

Food has never let me down. The spicy Gulf Fish Tacos are phenomenal. And their fried shrimp are huge. Never had a bad meal here and drinks are always on point. Atmosphere is the perfect Gulf Bay waterfront with a huge outdoor decks! One of my favorite local places to go. Don’t know if they take reservations but I know they get busy during peak times and weekends especially if there’s something happening in Downtown PCola but the wait last time was just nly 30 mins but it was such a nice day we didn’t mind!

So the oysters and the tuna nachos were pretty great. We do miss the Oysters Arcadiana they use to have, they were the best. However their sushi leaves a lot to be desired. It was the driest, flavorless gas station sushi I have ever had. The ginger had more flavor than the Tiger Roll we ordered. I recommend taking sushi off the menu and sticking to the oysters.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in Pensacola!
Brannon took care of us from the moment we sat down, and his hospitality is the reason people like us keep coming back. The oysters were insanely fresh and perfectly prepared — but the way Brannon walked us through the menu, checked on us, and made the whole night feel effortless is what truly made the experience five-star.

Atlas is lucky to have someone like him on the team. Service like this brings people back over and over, and his boss definitely needs to give him the raise he deserves. We’ll be recommending Atlas — and Brannon — to everyone we know.

Did you show up to The Fish house and it’s a long wait? Go to Atlas! We had the magic mushrooms, lamb ribs and their firecracker calamari… it was the best dishes I have had in a long time and we eat at 5 star restaurants all the time! I was beyond impressed.. canceled our wait for the fish house. Drinks? Their Mai Tai was exactly like the ones I’ve had in Hawaii!! You will not be disappointed!!
