Picked up food and absolutely no one was there, that should have been a red flag. My wontons were rock hard inside and uncooked, and the beef was more fat than meat. My partners food was too salty to eat. Trust me and go somewhere else!

Been meaning to try here for a while because of the preorder chef’s special menu items. The century egg is prepared well without the ammonia smell. Drypot cauliflower is great, as well as the knife work on the pineappled squid. Was not big fan of the goat, bit chewy. Liked the ribbon fish, most of the table were not fans cause not used to the bones fillets. Good service, dishes came out pretty fast.

First visit and like all the dishes we ordered.
Especially the crispy pork in sweet sour sauce is my favourite! These dishes were not just pretty but also delicious with quite a big portion. Will definitely come again to try the others~ the restaurant decor is modern and chic, good for instagram.

A great experience of Chinese fine dining with friends. Every single dish that we ordered was beautifully presented and filled with a wonderful depth and complexity of flavors. The atmosphere is relaxed and the dining room is elegant without being stuffy. Service was formal but friendly. Will definitely come back for a special event.

Just had an unforgettable dining experience at Atlas Kitchen in the Upper West Side, right near Columbia University. This place is a true gem!
The restaurant’s massive space and stunning decor are inspired by mountains and the sea, making it a feast for the eyes before you even take your first bite. The ambiance is just perfect for a special night out or a cozy meal with friends or a big party. Atlas Kitchen serves up a mix of classic Chinese, Hunanese, and Sichuan cuisines, and every dish is a work of art. From the vibrant flavors to the exquisite presentation, it’s clear they put a lot of love into their food. ️
I highly recommend checking out this spot if you’re in NYC.

Overall, mild-taste Chinese food suitable for people who prefer lightly taste-Chinese food. Not as spicy and salty comparing to the authentic style. I enjoyed the Mapo tofu and the Dumplings but not the sweet-sour chicken (too sweet and too much batter)

The most authentic Chinese food on Upper West Side!!! Little bit of greasy and salty are the signs of authenticity!!!

Ordered slow fried ribbon fish (was a bit skinny this time but the flavor was good.), cauliflower with meat to share with my vegan husband, and this is his absolute favorite dish! Spicy and garlicky, but very tasty and good with white rice. Yang Chow fried rice is a must for me, generous amount of shipping, ham with eggs!!

I live 40 blocks away from the restaurant, but this is my go to Chinese when I order online! Give a try if you haven’t!! Everything’s very good!!! (and little salty)

The food was fairly good, but bland (with one exception – the clams actually had a decent amount of spice), and service was inattentive and barely pleasant. The space could use some attention. I’d eat here if I lived nearby, but wouldn’t make the trip uptown for it.

This is one of my local go-to spots. I frequently order takeout from Atlas Kitchen and in my latest order, their sliced beef in red chili soup had a large bug in it. (As pictured.) I was obviously horrified, and contacted the restaurant. I left my contact to a server and asked for the owner to reach out but they’ve been radio silent. In addition to the obvious hygienic issue, I’m disappointed in the restaurant that they don’t care enough to call back a regular.
