Great server, good food. They had us at the basket of hush puppies that the waitress sat on the table right after we were seated. If you want gourmet seafood this isn’t your place. If you want good tasting food that fills you up, and friendly service, at a reasonable price, then don’t let the one stars scare you away. I’m glad we didn’t.

When I see prices like that I expect quality. Was not pleased. My husband loved the shrimp tacos. I ordered something and did not know it was fried. I thought it was fresh cooked seafood. The server brought me out a different plate which was awesome of her to do so but I heard the other staff speaking about it, not very professional. She was very quiet and shy but made things right. I did leave her a 22% tip for her efforts.

We ate here about a year ago and were pleased with our meals. Unfortunately, we did not have that same experience this time. The food was not fresh. It was not flavorful. It was disappointing. Portions are large. Sharing a plate with someone is a great idea. We waited quite awhile for our food to arrive even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Our server was excellent. Extremely expensive and over priced, especially when the food is mediocre.

This place was so amazing! Great family friendly atmosphere with really nice staff. Our food was soooo good and you def get your money’s worth, the portions are HUGE! The fried food has no grease on it and the fries are so good with a slight crunch. We found this place while visiting the area for our anniversary and didn’t want a bar atmosphere. We left full and very pleased!

My husband and I have been coming to Oak Island together for 11 years. It was only on our last visit that we tried this place. The service was super friendly and very accommodating to our little one. The fried fish was super yummy and NOT greasy in the slightest. We were impressed and very happy with our meal and service. We will return.

We were very pleased with the service and food at The Atlantic. The “homey” aptmosphere made it a great dinner spot for our party of 6. Our server was friendly, attentive, and not pushy at all. The food was excellent as well. The broiled flounder was delicious and tasted very fresh; the sweet potato was tasty, too. The complimentary hush puppies were also a favorite among our table. We enjoyed our experience and will hopefully be back soon!

In the area from out of town & found this place. Very nice restaurant with an older crowd. Sandwiches & meals, salads, 55+ menu. I had fish tacos ($9) that were very tasty. My daughter had blackened tuna tacos ($11) & said they were great. Terra was our waitress & she was very pleasant. Dinners (under 55) run $12-$22 plus market price for lobster tails & scallops. 55+ meals were $12-$18. Nice place.

Service a little slow. You can’t tell from the road there’s anybody in the place… would think they’d seat more people in the front windows! But nice tray of hushpuppies brought to the table even before we ordered! Food was good.

Staff is superior! Never a wait, the staff works as a team to make sure customers are seated and helped. Within 2 minutes, a big basket of hush puppies is brought to your table at no charge, your drink order is taken, and if you’ve decided on your meal, your order is taken. The food is excellent, brought to the table hot, and the staff regularly checks on you to make sure everything is good for you. If your a lover of seafood, Atlantic Seafood is the place to go! The plates are huge, so it’s a great value. They also offer salads, chicken, hamburgers, and lunch specials at a great price.
