One of the Best Clam Chowders in Boston

We ordered the fish of the day, which was exceptionally well done — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The oysters were very fresh, clean, and enjoyable.

The clam chowder was really, really good — easily one of the best I’ve had in Boston. Rich, balanced, and comforting without being too heavy. The bread was served warm, a small detail that made a big difference.

Service was excellent. Christopher was attentive, professional, and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.

Highly recommended. A seafood restaurant that truly delivers on quality.

Classic seafood experience.
The menu has a large selection of fresh fish and classic seafood dishes. The crab cakes were delicious with a lot of crab meat.

The service is
warm and attentive despite being very busy.
We had a reservation and waited about 10 minutes for our table.
The martinis are also excellent and a generous size.
A nice spot for a classic Boston seafood experience.

Truly an all around amazing experience. Delicious food, fine dining and excellent service.

Atmosphere: Fine dining ambiance with a mix of elegant booths and tables.

Food: wonderful dishes with specially curated flavors. The standouts include the octopus appetizer it’s a must have. They have the best dinner rolls and Boston cream pie despite them not being known for it. We went back again just for the dessert and they offered us the dinner toll again free.
We tried the steamed lobster as well but wasn’t anything memorable.

Service: attentive and patient with knowledgeable staff and helpfull service.

Cost: Expect to pay between 75-100 per person.

Overall a full recommendation to dine here.

We were visiting Boston and wanted some good oysters and seafood without going too far from our hotel. We ended up here. The oysters looked great but were a bit pricier than we expected, so we went with the scallops instead — and they were very good. The bread and clam chowder were also delicious. Overall, the food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. It is a little pricey, but honestly that seems to be the norm everywhere these days.

A great experience for a family lunch in a windy afternoon. We had mostly signature dishes including chowder, crab-crushed haddock, lobster roll and all of us were satisfied. Our server Amanda was extremely helpful right upon our arrival. If nitpicking, the seating arrangement was a bit tight, but there were plenty of leg rooms under the table after sitting down. We all agree to make it our regular lunch spot if near the area.

Absolutely amazing! The mussels are kind small but having great taste. The lobster is definitely fresh and juicy. But if you can’t bear any fishy smells like me, you would better do not order steamed lobster. The service is also so good, even providing anything we need before we asked.

Atlantic Fish Company delivered an absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the hosts set the tone with their warm welcome and perfectly orchestrated seating, and the entire team carried that seamless service throughout the evening.

A special compliment to our server, Anton, who was truly exceptional. He knew the menu inside and out, offered thoughtful guidance, and his recommendations were spot on. His confidence, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm elevated the meal even further.

The food itself was phenomenal—beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish felt crafted with care. The wine pairings were impeccable as well, enhancing each course without ever overwhelming it.

Atlantic Fish Company excels in every category: service, atmosphere, cuisine, and attention to detail. A flawless experience and easily one of Boston’s finest. Highly recommended.

I am gluten free. I am so thankful for the many GF options I can generally find, but it is rare that a waiter’s eye lights up when I say so. I walked in to Atlantic Fish, proclaimed my gluten free-ness, and my server promptly brought me warmed GF bread with the most delicious softened, salted butter. I nearly wept. The most delightful man that he was, the server brought me an extra piece to take home. Being out of town, I asked him for his recommendation off the menu and decided to go with the catch of the day with gratin potatoes and mushrooms. While the mushrooms were good, the fish and potatoes were exquisite and someone from the kitchen specifically brought my food with the comfort of confirming the gluten free-ness of my food. The space is warm and inviting, and I am delighted by the providence which beckoned me through the doors. I highly recommend you listen when it calls yours, too.

Came here on a Friday evening having made reservations ahead. Everything was wonderful. We were not rushed at all and the food and service was excellent. Such a pleasure to get decent service for a change. We had oysters on the half shell, made to order cocktails, main course and dessert. Me: gin martini – perfect, then their signature crab crusted haddock – delicious and then their Boston Creme Pie – fantastic. My party all enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend!

Their seafood always slaps. We were able to make a quick reservation and were seated immediately. They have complimentary bread which I highly recommend using to soak up the sauce when you finish the PEI mussels.

Definitely give them a call before walking in to get an idea of their current availability. And I highly recommend a reservation for bigger groups (+4) as well
