Our full order was two cups of coffee, one side salad and these two sandwiches with two cups of clam chowder. Totaling $41!! Needless to say we were extremely disappointed in our lunch. It was suppose to be a “grilled tuna melt” and a “grilled cheese and tomato” With the sandwiches came french fries or soup. We were told after receiving the bill that clam chowder is an “upgrade.” This isn’t written anywhere. Normally I wouldn’t complain, but this isn’t the first time that this has happened. The last time I came I ordered the goulash. The menu said it came with two sides. When trying to order the two sides the waitress kindly said that the noodles in the goulash were considered a side. I don’t mind paying for a reasonable meal, but I’m not about to spend $16 on a sandwich that I could get at a gas station. I try to support the local restaurants in my area, but this is just taking advantage of the customer.

I and my girlfriend have been going to the Atlantic Restaurant for at least two plus decades and we have never had a bad meal. The day I went I had a Western Omelet, hash browns, wheat toast and coffee and everything was delicious. I have also enjoyed a wide variety of different kinds of hot meals, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps and seafood. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and always well stocked with paper products. If you are looking for a great local restaurant for a great meal and a quiet atmosphere then the Atlantic Restaurant is the place for you.
I would also like to commend the waite staff, the cooks and hostess on their being very professional in performing their jobs.

The Atlantic earned their 5 star rating!! They are exactly what they are supposed to be – a great family restaurant. I found the staff to be friendly, professional and efficient. The Atlantic is a good place to go for a nice family meal. You can enjoy the atmosphere because it is roomy enough to allow you to converse with your family without being too close to someone else’s family. The menu is large and has enough diversity for everyone to easily find good choices. The service is obviously professionally trained. Congratulations to the Atlantic restaurant from a Certified Chef that appreciates a well run restaurant !!

It was busy and I felt like our waitress forgot about us often but she did eventually come around. My son loved the food. He liked the decor. I thought it was overly loud but it was busy. The front was crowded when we came in but everyone was seated very quickly.

Stopped in for breakfast fairly early Sat morning. Not very crowded. I ordered an omelette, rye toast, OJ and coffee. The waitress was great but unfortunately the omelette was over cooked. The eggs were a little dry and not fluffy at all. Mediocre at best. Pretty pricey as well, $25 plus tip. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Is there a problem with getting someone to take my order for Take-Out? I sat on the phone for so long I figured they didn’t need my business.

We stopped one evening when Red Robin had a 30 minute wait. Looked like a nice place. Very large. Good service, though when my drink was empty I was not asked if I wanted a refill, nor was one brought. I saw a couple reviews that mentioned large portions, but honestly, I was a bit disappointed. As you can see in the photos, we each got a burger and fries. Pretty typical for the portion of fries, however the burger was a disappointment. Super thin on a thick bun. I took a photo from the side and the patties are VERY thin. The other disappointment was that, for the price of the meal and drinks, you only get 1 refill on drinks. Considering how dry the burger was, that was a disappointment. Have a look at our receipt. For two of us to have a burger and fries with soft drink it was over $30.00!!!

The food taste fine here nothing wrong with it everything seems fresh but where they get at. for example they charge you 12 bucks for a cheeseburger and chips doesn’t even come with fries they’re extra for $4+. And it’s just a tiny cheap 25 cent bag of plain lays. So you’re 20 bucks for cheeseburger and fries with water to drink.

The Atlantic is one of my favorite places to get breakfast. The food and service is always good. I have also eaten lunch here on occasion. I recommend trying the Sky Burger!
