I ordered a large cheeseburger pizza no bacon with pickles today and for the fourth time in the last 6 months they did not give me extra Hamburg. Today I decided not to let it go and ask them to honor my order. At first they told my partner they would give her the first pizza free and make a new one but then the manager said no and explained to my partner that they would cook more Hamburg and TOSS IT ON TOP OF THE ALREADY COOKED PIZZA!?!? I mean have some common sense here. I walked in and ask that they make the pizza fresh as it is not the same if tossed on top. They obliged but this is what I was left with when I got home. This never happens to my pizza when I order and I make all but one turn when I leave to go home. I also wait longer than the expected time to make sure things like this do not happen on the ride home. When I walked in the box was ready and had been sitting awhile as expected. Very disappointing to see this type of service from a place I give my hard earned money to… 🙁

Haven’t been here in a few years. They always had the best italian subs of anyone around. Went today, got an italian sub, chicken caesar wrap, wild west pizza and a cheese pizza. Wild west was so dry it was tough to chew, chicken wrap had almost no caesar dressing and was very dry, italian sub had very little meat, almost no lettuce or veggies on it, cheese pizza was one of the best pizza’s we have had in awhile. Overall extremely disappointed in the quality of the food we received. Its doubtful that we will be back.

This is my third time here… each and every time the food was exceptional. Absolutely amazing and for once extra cheese actually means extra cheese…. I’d recommend ordering in advance if you only have 30 min for lunch… but that’s what I expect for well-made food… I’ll be coming back

With incredible service, an array of menu options and the best cheese pull known to man, Athens has cemented itself as one of my personal favorites in the entire country. One of the best pizza places around. Fast service, good people, good pizza. Only thing I don’t prefer is their garlic bread, lack of basil as a topping, and good cheesy bread with marinara. That would make it 5 stars for me. If these don’t concern you it might be 5 stars for you.
