Absolutely incredibly disappointed with this establishment! Ordered takeaway-one medium deluxe/supreme pizza with added pineapple. Pathetically small, virtually no sauce, no cheese, minimal amount of peppers-count them, few onions, little bits of sausage-nothing else but pepperoni. Asked for addition of pineapple, appeared to be a few pieces thrown on after baking and tasted old. $22 for a 10-inch pizza. No health report posted. Dining room empty and no one came to greet when door opened. Had to wait for takeaway after posted time and pizza was not even hot. .

I’m really glad Athens Pizza reopened. You can tell they put effort into getting back to serving the community. The pizza is consistently good, with fresh ingredients and great flavor, and it’s honestly some of the best pizza in the area. Service has been friendly, and it feels good to support a local spot that came back strong. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving quality pizza.

This place absolutely nails it when it comes to flavor. The steak calzone is hands down one of the best I’ve had perfectly cooked, packed with meat, and full of rich flavor. The wings are surprisingly good for a pizza spot, crispy, well-sauced, and clearly not an afterthought. Hani is the best chef.

Just tried one of the few halal spots in Athens. The food came out super fast, which is always a plus. Tried their fajita pizza this time, Taste was pretty good, nothing mind-blowing but definitely hit the spot.
However, they need to work on their dine in space. The indoor place doesn’t smell so good.

So I went here twice first time I went here. It was just the Indian woman working there and she was very nice and she gave me four tenders and fries special for $11 so I called today on my second time to get the same order and that specifically sit on the phone I would like the four tenders in the fries and they charge me $11 and when I checked the box when I got home, I literally had about like eight fries with three tenders. I mean it was like a happy meal, literally I don’t understand why switch up the portion sizes between the first time and the second time I just don’t get it. They literally served me hardly anything for the same amount of money. It was crazy.

Excellent food overall!! The Pizza is the best in Athens, especially the BBQ chicken pizza! 10/10 would recommend. Prices are very reasonable and large quantities. Delivery time is also very quick.

I always go to Athens pizza with my wife whenever I am visiting Athens usually on football game days. Pasta pizza tenders or subs, everything is super tasty and high quality. Amazingly it’s also more affordable than most other places in town. Try it out!

Tried this place for the first time, had the steak sub. It was pretty good, not bad for one of the few halal restaurants in Athens. It was nearly a footlong for $10, which is worth it imo. Will definitely visit again and try more items. Would recommend. Update: just had the supreme pizza. 12″ medium was $12 and was very good. Crust is nicely flavored too. Its a great place for individuals or feeding the whole family. Will be returning frequently so long Im in Athens. Second update: Ive pretty much tried one of everything from each category and I can say everything is great, plenty of choices and great value. Their homemade ranch is very good, unlike the artificial stuff you buy at the store.

We’re so glad Athens Pizza has reopened! The pizza is amazing as always—fresh, flavorful, and easily the best pizza around. We’ve truly missed this place, and it’s great to have them back. Highly recommended!

We used Athens Pizza quite often during the pandemic and it worked well. But it’s been awhile. It’s changed. I submitted the order to be delivered at around 6 through the app. According to the app, they had finished making the pizza at about 6:20. The app sent us a text saying that it was on its way to our house and should arrive between 6:30 and 6:50. When it hadn’t arrived by 7:00, I called the restaurant. It turns out you cannot call the restaurant. While it sounds like the restaurant is answering, it turns out you are being directed to a call center. I was on hold with the call center for nearly 10 minutes, and the woman, who had a difficult time with English, told me that no one was answering at the restaurant. Finally I got in the car to go get it, even though the app continue to say it was on its way to the house. The reason I had it delivered was that I had things to do, but I had already paid for the pizza so I went to the restaurant. There were three other people waiting for their pizza and that was it at dinner time on a Wednesday evening. Obviously not very busy in the restaurant itself, I suspect for good reason. One woman working who told me it would be 2 to 3 minutes and that the pizza was in the oven. Of course, the app that told me that it had been finished an hour before and was on the way to my house. 10 minutes later, I went into the kitchen and she said it would be 2 to 3 minutes. About 15 minutes later, she came out with the pizza almost 2 hours after I submitted the order for delivery. She was apologetic, and I saidthings happen, except that your app told me that it was on its way for delivery. She made an attempt to say that that wasn’t the case, so I showed the app to her. She said that she was not the owner. I said, I understand, but please tell the owner all about this. Given that there was no one in this restaurant at dinner time on a Wednesday evening in a university town, I suspect this restaurant won’t be around long. If you order from them, good luck.
