Athenian Diner is hands-down the best diner around. The food is always served fresh, and I’ve tried many different items on the menu—everything has been consistently excellent. You can truly taste the freshness in every dish.
The dessert case is a showstopper and honestly looks like it belongs in an edible museum—beautiful and impossible to resist. The salads are huge, generously portioned, and very fairly priced, and even the salad dressings are made on the premises.
On top of all that, the staff is great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better every time.

No complaints. Service was fast, food was fairly priced, omelettes were good- the portions are big, in retrospect we probably could have split one. Staff was friendly, and the diner had that authentic 50’s diner feel. Over all, very satisfied- we’ll be coming back!

My son wanted breakfast the other morning and I wanted something comforting. We both received what we wanted here!
They serve breakfast all day and have so many choices available.
The prices were typical and worth every penny.
Very roomy and a great atmosphere.

Exceptionally good time diner. The food is tasty and fresh. The coffee always fresh and hot. All the salads are great as they make the salad dressing on site. So many wonderful choices on the massive menu. The staff are always so helpful with descriptions. Tonight Michelle was over top with service, knowledge, great personality. Be sure to hit the diner when in Milford.

The food here was really good — we enjoyed our breakfast overall. However, what took away from the experience was being charged for condiments and tea bags. Between my friend and me, we were charged $4 just for honey packets, which felt a bit excessive. Considering our total bill was around $80 for three people, it seemed unnecessary to add extra charges for small items that most places include with your meal. It gave the impression that ownership is trying to squeeze every bit out of customers, which left a sour note on an otherwise enjoyable meal.

Absolutely wonderful experience for a late night dinner. We enjoyed fish and chips and it was ultra fresh! Fresh hot coffee hit the spot also. The blue cheese dressing was the best. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server Michelle was a true professional and provided outstanding hospitality.

Very cute dinner. Came here on a whim off the highway. The service was pleasant and the food LARGE. Excellent portions and well priced. The pancakes were delicious and the bread fresh, even at 10pm. It was worth the stop.

If I could give the waitress zero stars I would she had a slight attitude from the jump we ordered a turkey club to share when it came out the fries were cold and she slammed the dish down on the table I told her when I ordered the club we were sharing it so common sense would be to bring an extra dish when she slammed the dish on the table she turned her back so quickly to go to the booth across from us I asked her for an extra dish she responded yup and we sat there for a while and she never returned. Done with this place won’t go back!

Great diner, good food, and good service. Great family restaurant with lots of parking and handicapped access. Busy place and well attnded. During main eatery hours you might be obliged to wait; but the wait is always worth it! Recommended!
