HORRIBLE food, HORRIBLE service! The very frazzled, and frantic waitress (only wait staff there) seated us after we waited by the door for 5 minutes, in the sparsely occupied dinning area. because she was over at the gas station buying scratch tickets.
The calamari was rubbery and obviously Frozen. My daughter and I ordered the chicken wraps. It was inedible! The chicken was so overcooked it turned a gross Brown on the inside and was stringy and you couldn’t chew it. Not to mention she brought out everyone’s dish separately minutes apart. When I asked her what baklava was, she replied with “its sugar with nuts.”
So when I was waiting to talk to her about my chicken, she had disappeared over to the gas station again to buy more scratch tickets. When she came back she didn’t even check on us but went straight to the kitchen to tell everyone that she won on her scratch tickets and take pictures with her phone. So I had to get up to go ask her to come and look at the chicken and to take it off the bill. When she saw the chicken she asked me well “why didn’t you just bring it back to the Cook”. To which I should have replied I am not the waitress it is not my job. But I just kind of nervously laughed it off. She took it off the bill we paid and left. If I could give this place negative Stars I would be happier.

Hands down some of the best pizza in Berkshire County. The prices are fair, the quality of the food is great. They check the box in all 3 categories of pizza:
Is it good when fresh? YES!
Is it good reheated? YES!
Is it good cold? YES!
If you get a chance, give them a try you will not be disappointed!

Curbside pickup only but the gentleman who brought our food to the car was very kind. The pizza was classic Greek style with an excellent crispy crust and had a generous portion of toppings on it. Lots of cheese as well so if you enjoy lots of sauce, ask for extra sauce when ordering here. Great pizza!

It is too bad the owner wants to sell the place. I am in Lee for vacation and we decided to stay in and get some pizza. Best choice we made. This is how Greek pizza was made when I was a kid. Lots of cheese, tasty sauce, plenty of toppings, and a hearty, crispy, crust. I hope the new owners will keep the place going and not change the pizza. Thank you!

Since moving to the area a few months ago I’ve eaten here 4-5 times. I would describe the food as mediocre to adequate. We don’t have a whole lot of choices in this area so compromise often gets more attention than overall satisfaction or higher standards. Tonight though, I think Athena’s consistently bad service was just too bad to be tolerated ever again. When I entered, I was one of only two tables of customers in the place. Just the same, it took 10 minutes for the waitress to pay attention to me. She was clearly agitated when I asked her how particular menu item was prepared. I wasn’t taking any chances; I had plans. Instead of a hot entre I ordered a SANDWICH! 30 minutes later, with the restaurant no more crowded than when I walked in, I walked out having never been served. I don’t know if the problem is the table or kitchen staff. Regardless, stay away unless you have all evening to devote to this less than wondrous culinary experience.

If you like Greek style pizza then I would suggest this place. Had a medium meatball pizza, thought it was pretty good. I liked the sauce and the crust came out right. Will try again for sure.

My daughter and I walked in 30 minutes before they were going to close. They still treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. Pizza was delicious and the meatballs were great too. When we are in Lee we will return to try more things on the menu.

We have never been disappointed going to Athena’s. Between the pizza, the chicken souvlaki, the wine,;everything was fresh, good quality and delicious. We’ve gone there for birthday parties, after funerals, etc. Very accommodating and friendly people for nearly 20 years.

I’m sure the take out is probably pretty good. I didn’t try the pizza. Sitting down for dinner was unpleasant. Restaurant was nearly empty, but waitress never came to our table to refill water or to check in on our food. We ordered basic sandwiches and it took 30 minutes. Gyro did not have enough sauce on it and chicken sandwich did not have any of the special mustard that was listed on the menu. When I asked for more water, the waitress just put a pitcher on the table (there were 2 of us and only one of us needed more water).

Oh my gosh. Traveling all day and found this amazing gem. Greek salad was amazing and huge for a small salad. Our sausage and mushroom pizza was more then I expected. Sausage was at least an inch big and plenty of it. As well as the mushrooms. The cheese and sauce were great. We are out East and as Midwest folks…let’s say…wow!! You can’t go wrong with pizza from this place. Better than Chicago pizza. No haters please.
