If you like feeling like family and having a home-cooked meal this is the place for you. I was greeted like a member of the family. I loved the family photos all around the place too. Oh yea, the food tastes excellent as well! Amazing gyros!! The meat is super tender and flavorful. The pita is warm and soft, very fresh.

We are so happy we stumbled upon this amazing place! The food, atmosphere and service are stellar! We felt like family, welcomed to a festive dinner. The food is perfect and the portions are generous! The staff were all friendly and attentive. The lovely owner, Maria, introduced herself and was so sweet and vivacious! I’m sure her restaurant is run so well because of her passion and attention to every detail! We started with Greek fried cheese (Saganaki), which was worth the trip on its own. I followed up with the Greek Fajitas, which were amazing, and hubby had the shrimp and pasta. He’s picky about how shrimp is cooked, and had high praise for how masterfully they cooked it here, and he LOVED the pasta. Finishing with a sampling of the fabulous house-made desserts made it an absolutely perfect evening. Though this is quite a distance from where we live, we will return often – it is worth the drive!

I found this place on the way home from getting some not so great news, but my spirits are lifted after eating here. The food was delicious, veggies tasted fresh, service was great and quick. I’m definitely coming back here and bringing others when we are craving delicious food. I had the tzatziki appetizer and the kokkinisto; both I highly recommend! I loved the garlic bread and chocolate baklava as well.

Absolutely amazing! Zero complaints, the food, service and atmosphere are all incredible. They got busy, but the service didn’t reflect that. Maria the owner made us feel like family from the moment we walked in and our server Mohammad was attentive and kind. The serving size and prices were also great!

Stopped in this Sunday around 2pm on a whim and I am so overjoyed that I did! 20/10!! The service was fantastic with the owner Maria floating around throughout the restaurant. It made me feel at home for sure! I love the wall of family photos as well , a great touch. Now let’s talk food! OMG the food was literally perfection! My husband and I ordered the baked oysters and spanakopita as an appetizer. I was already doing the happy dance the second the put it on the table ! We went with our servers Alex recommendation of the lamb special which was lamb chops as well as lamb shank. Melt in your mouth with the most unctuous taste! Alex even gave us a dessert on the house as it was our first time here. It was out of this world ! We will be coming back shortly! Great portions for the price as well ! Do yourself a favor and stop in !

Second time dining here, and they did not disappoint. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender, falling right off the bone. The green beans were fresh and well-seasoned, and the gyro plate was perfectly prepared with fresh spinach. The food is truly authentic; having just returned from Greece a few months ago, I can confidently say this restaurant is spot on. Our server, Muhammad, was friendly, polite, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend,

I’ve had greek food and I’ve had Athena’s Greek food. It was BY FAR the best Greek food I’ve ever had.
I ordered the Gyro Fajitas (beef and chicken) with a kabob of beef with a salad and Greek Pancakes.
The food was plentiful, fresh and hot. The flavors were amazing. Seasoned perfectly. The chicken was cooked to perfect along with the beef. The Gyro meat was THE MOST tender Gyro meat I’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth!
The Baklava is fantastic as well! Great dessert to end the meal.
This is a gem of a restaurant in Houston. The service was prompt and friendly. I felt like I was the only person in the restaurant. I will make this a staple in my rotation.

High quality, excellent and well priced. Owner and servers do care. Doriska was our server and was great. This rainbow trout was delicious. It does not matter how far away you are in Houston….just come here… we drove 20 miles to eat here and it’s worth it. We will come back.

Delicious authentic Greek food. I had the lamb with potatoes in the oven. The owner Maria added as a treat 3 grilled lamb chops because she is super nice woman. It came with a very fresh Greek salad with a good chunk of feta cheese. I finished my feast with Greek Kourabiedes. The server Alekos was very polite and attentive. Strongly recommend this restaurant.
