The service is fine. They don’t wait on tables. It’s counter pick up only. The restaurant sit down area could use to be cleaned better. The tacos however were very good! Very flavorful! The rice side was really good. Rice had a great flavor to it. The green sauce was also flavorful and had a good spice to it. Would definitely stop in again. The tamale had nice flavor and was cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable and a great value.

Wow! From the moment we walked in, it’s been great! We were greeted instantly and they were very accommodating. Im allergic to peppers and onions. They made sure not to put them in my food but also alerted me the rice is cooked with onion but doesn’t have onion in it, which is fine for me. The food is cooked to order and very fresh. My husband got beef enchiladas that came with 4 enchiladas, rice, refried beans and small salad for $17. I got a chicken bowl that had beans, rice, chicken, cheese and sour cream. I asked for no pico and guacamole on the side to give my husband. They were able to give me plain avacado instead, which was a nice surprise. Mine came with a side of homemade chips and was only $14. The green enchilada sauce was a smidge spicy per my husband. We both loved the rice, refried beans and chips. My bowl was delicious. We agreed this was o e of the best Mexican meals we’ve had in a long time and we eat Mexican food at least twice a week. it’s also the best meal we’ve had since being in town for 3 days. We will definitely visit again when in town.

First time seeing this place on the boardwalk, and I visit Wildwood every year. I’m glad I did! The customer service was fantastic. The ladies at the front were smiling and had a great attitude. My wife got quesadillas with rice, and I had tacos with rice. We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures, but trust me, the food looked great and tasted even better. My order came with three tacos, but they put so much meat you could easily make six. Every taco has two wraps, so you can do that. The food prices were pretty affordable for the boardwalk. I’ll definitely be back!

Also, we had our 7 month old daughter, and without us even asking, they kindly lowered the music for her. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

This was my first time trying Atexcac and the experience was good. I got the carnitas bowl which came with tortilla chips and my daughter tried the quesabirria tacos. My bowl was good, it came with seasoned rice, fried pork pieces, crema, cheese and pico de gallo. By the time i made it to my hotel about 15 mins had passed and the bowl was cold but that was my fault. My daughter gave her tacos a 9/10 ⭐️ (included the text thread). The girls taking the order were friendly and smiling. I appreciated that because i find that every worker at restaurants i go to nowadays are so miserable. My ONLY complaint was the wait time. I waited over 45 minutes for my order. They were super busy being as it was July 4th, so that could’ve been it. But i would definitely give them another try when I am down at the shore on a day that’s not a holiday.

The best Mexican food outside of Mexico. I felt transported back to my favorite place. The only thing I did not like was the Jamaican Hibiscus Tea. Service was quick.

I ordered the Carne Asada plate, the taste was ok. When eating in a formal restaurant, the least I expect is real cutlery and plates, I didn’t see a difference if my order was to go or eat in, my food was served on cardboard plates and I had to use plastic cutlery. I recommend this restaurant if you are passing through and you like Mexican food, but not for me to repeat on a next visit to Atlantic City.

To my knowledge, this is one of the few Mexican Restaurants. I went here because I wanted something different from all the pizza. I ordered a chicken burrito; the taste was delicious, but the only problem was that it wasn’t tight, so it kept coming out.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to for this place. We spent about $80 for just burritos, a quesadilla, and tacos. The meat was cold and tasted reheated, not fresh at all. The al pastor especially did not taste right, it had a weird flavor and seasoning that didn’t even taste like al pastor.
They were busy and got the food out quick, but just because a restaurant is busy doesn’t mean they should rush the food. Quality should still matter. To top it off, the food made all of our stomachs upset. For the prices they charge, they really need to make sure the food is made well and fresh.
