As a European, I’ve found it surprisingly difficult to find restaurants in Atlantic Canada that truly match the level of service, cuisine, and overall atmosphere I’m used to back home, but Atelier Tony absolutely delivered.
It honestly felt like stepping into a warm, home-style restaurant with fine dining standards. The service was outstanding, the presentation was beautiful, and every dish was refined, perfectly prepared, and genuinely delicious.
What impressed me most is that the quality easily competes with many European restaurants, yet the prices remain very reasonable for what you get.
Highly recommended! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

This was a pleasant surprise while traveling in the area for work. The restaurants offer a wide variety of dishes. The service was personable and quick, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to visit on the weekends for brunch. The location is cozy and is attached to a bakery that sells takeaway snacks and desserts. It’s also an easy walk to the farmers market across the street. However, parking can be a bit of a challenge. There’s a nearby parking lot and on-street parking, but I would arrive early to avoid having to find a spot. Overall, it’s an excellent place to visit.

Amazing food and great atmosphere. As soon as you enter the space you can tell that a lot of careful thinking and attention went to every detail of the decor as well as the menu. The food is beautifully crafted and everything is made in house. Service was a bit slow when I was there but I’m sure it was just a fluke. Absolutely recommend to everyone!

Wonderful French bistro with creative dishes, such as the lobster roll in a croissant. The Blue Pearl Oyster are so delicious that it doesn’t need anything else added. The service is excellent, but they are not very fast. Atmosphere is casual with good vibe. I’d love to come back.

Have been to Atelier Tony a few times on different occasions from high tea, brunch, dinner to NYE dinner. Nice deco and atmosphere but most importantly, we love the food every time!! Customer service needs to be improved though, for a restaurant at this level, I would expect a better customer experience but the food definitely brings me back. Their boulangerie next door is really good too!
Update: changed my review to 5 stars since it’s been almost a year and we have come back multiple times for multiple events/occasions and could see their customer service improved a lot. Even a staff we found not very friendly before has been giving a good customer service. Hope they keep it up!

Went for dinner to celebrate anniversary. I had the Acadian 75 cocktail to start which was delicious. Unfortunately we got there a little too late to do the trust the chef, but we were still blown away by the selection of dishes we ordered. The bread service and black garlic butter were superb. The apps; specifically the baked oysters and the meatballs, were so good we thought about ordering more but were too full by the end of it! Second course we had the duck and the braised beef, both which were just as good as the apps! Plating was beautiful and refreshing to see chefs that put care and attention to detail in their dishes. Finished with the pistachio mousse, which again we could’ve eaten another plate if we weren’t so full. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and well versed in the knowledge of the dishes. Would definitely come back again and do the trust the chef!

Everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure about the Thai seafood pasta, but once I tried it, I loved it. The taste felt as if I were eating fresh food. The place also has a great vibe and is cozy, with an English style. 🙂

I was at this restaurant for lunch. Tony’s has always had a good reputation. I was disappointed by the limited menu especially because most dishes were with eggs which I cannot have. Their small sausage patties were somewhat dry and not to my liking. The prices are on the high side for their dishes. Our table was close to others so I was concerned about the privacy of our conversation and the atmosphere was quite noisy. This was my second visit and was underwhelmed on both occasions.
