The food was delicious and left me wanting more. There were a few dishes that made me question if I was eating what was described to me – in a good way.
The staff were all so helpful and pleasant. They took care to explain everything, answer any questions we had, and to joke around with us and just overall have fun.
The space is not huge which makes everything feel super intimate. The kitchen is open and you can see everyone working diligently but also enjoying themselves. I heard and saw more than one of the people behind the line tast something and state how good it was or how much they liked it.
Will absolutely be back.
The service was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with confidence, while the wine pairing stood out as a strong addition, enhancing several of the courses nicely.
When it came to the food, each dish was good and thoughtfully prepared, but many courses felt too simple in execution. The flavors were clean and pleasant, yet they often lacked the depth, layering, and progression you hope to experience throughout a tasting menu. With each new course, I kept anticipating a buildup—something bolder, more intricate, or more surprising—but that moment never quite arrived.
The menu did offer an enjoyable journey through different regions, which added variety and interest. Still, while the dishes were well-balanced and enjoyable, they didn’t reach the level of complexity or memorability expected at this level.
Savory ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ ☆
The savory courses leaned heavily into unusual spices and house-made elements, which was genuinely interesting.
All five appetizers were designed to be palate-opening—things like pickled bamboo shoots and house-made pickles stood out as creative and thoughtful.
The main savory course was a Dominiya beef rice dish. The bread served with it was very good and well-executed.
That said, across the savory portion of the menu, seasoning consistently leaned too salty, which ultimately overwhelmed the flavors for me.
Dessert ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
The main dessert was genuinely good—fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. It was the highlight of the meal and showed a level of restraint that I wish had carried through more of the savory courses.
The service here is top notch. Very kind and attentive staff. And the atmosphere was nice and lively. Overall, a great experience.
The restaurant was located at an inconspicuous location. Who would’ve ever knew that there was a Michelin restaurant there.
There was nothing to complain about the service. Our tasting menu consisted of a Miso Soup, which according to the kitchen is the first day they were serving it and we happened to be the first guests to taste it. It was waaay too salty and they did not hesitate to remake the soup for us (it was perfect the second time around – because of this they also gave us extra drinks on the house ).
The food was delicious each dish was very different and memorable and creative. The portion sizes were great! We were all so full by the time we finished all our courses. The server told us that the menu changes every 5-6 days so there’s different dishes all the time. We did think all our dishes were Asian inspired so I’m very excited to come back and try other dishes they have to present.
