Rating within the ‘nice dinner spot’ category. Fairly middle of the road. Above average wine selection and good presentation. Not very unique dishes and slightly over seasoned for my taste. Plus some hidden “sustainability fee” at the end. Overall, there are many superior spots within the neighborhood and across Denver.

Overall good experience. The service was wonderful. Our food was very tasty. I highly recommend the drunken mushroom appetizer!

Amazing! Came for Valentines day the place was full but they made sure everyone had enough room. I didn’t read the menu before hand and didn’t realize they had a set menu for the day. Since I am allergic to shell fish I just accepted that I wasn’t going to be able to eat some of the meal which I was fine with but i told them and they adjust everything so that I could have ever course and it was all amazing!

I live a couple blocks from L’atelier and have gone a couple times, deeply enjoyed the meal, warm atmosphere and good service.
I accidentally forgot my bank card one night and they were so kind even before I paid, which would be funny on a sitcom but is scary in real life. They handled my panic with graciousness I learned I can depend on.

Outstanding food, excellent wine selection. Small so that it’s quiet enough to allow conversation. I had filet mignon and it did not disappoint.

Good chocolate cake, but the portion was small, maybe because it was Denver restaurant week. Mushrooms appetizer had very nice textures but a tad too spicy for me, same with soup and main course. It’s probably a better atmosphere for people who like rich food and alcohol because they have an extensive wine list and the pairing for every course. According to a server, since they already put a service charge, you don’t have to tip, but there is a line for a tip and a suggested tip amount on the meal and service charge together, which in total will be 44% tips of the meal cost if you don’t really know what the service charge is.

Exceptional menu, exceptional food preparation and presentation, and a lovely wine list in a delightful space.. We had dinner here for our 56th wedding anniversary. We spent $80 a head for food; $65 for a bottle of Patz & Hall Chardonnay; 2.5% “sustainability fee”; and 22% gratuity because this very fine meal was worth every penny. We also met and thanked the owner briefly. We will be back.

Went for restaurant week and was very pleased, actually worth the $45 restaurant week deal. Started with a lobster cappuccino soup, which was more of a mild mushroom soup with frothed cream. The wild mushrooms infused in oil had a mild curry, different but tasty. The salmon was perfect and served with French lentils and green beans, and was delicious. The buffalo rib was very tender but a bit small. They were out of the lemon cheesecake dessert, but we had a flourless cake scoop that was pretty good. Nothing was five star, but it was a solid 4.5 stars and well worth the experience. The inside was nice, good ambiance and nice for a date night or something. The tip was listed at the service fee which was a bit confusing because there was also a tip line, but the 20% service fee is the tip, we confirmed with the waitress. It was pleasant and well cooked, the flavor profiles could use a little punch to get it up to five stars.

Went here for Valentine’s with my wife. Low key but classy, food was AMAZING, and the service was friendly and personable. On the cost side, our planned 5-course meal cost us about $400, which we rarely do, but we were not disappointed with our spend. My wife, having grown up in Czech recognized the owners name and almost instantly felt a personal connection to the restaurant as having Czech+French inspired cooking. Ciao! To the owner and the staff.

We will be back… Just have to sell our house and cars before we can afford it ;-).
