Food was ok. I had higher expectations because I’m familiar with and cook Hawaiian food – this place did not have enough flavor. Mochiko chicken was good. My friends got tofu teriyaki and loco moco which were ok. I wouldn’t go back but nice atmosphere and service.

Really tasty Island style BBQ and Teriyaki. Portions were large and everything was delicious. It’s a cute “surf” style fast-casual dining room. The crispy Chicken and fried rice were both very good. Loved the Mac Salad too.

The mochiko chicken was the first choice I made and it was very superb. The ingredients are spot on and I had a great experience. The staff are friendly and I just love this dish. The green salad was even better.

OH MY GOD if you are considering eating here, DO IT!!!! I just came in here absolutely starving and ordered the shoyu chicken sandwich, fried rice bowl with sausage and butter mochi. The sandwich was soooo good, unlike any sandwich I’ve ever had! So many flavors. And the fried rice you need to try it. Butter mochi was weird though tbh

The food is fine. Im giving one star because I just ordered a chicken teriyaki plate with salad, and extra sauce. All I got was like an ounce of chicken and 2 scoops of rice. I ordered through their site/toast for pickup. And since I don’t have time to go back and get this resolved on my lunch break it’s kind of a bummer. Definitely not at all worth $15 plus a tip. No worries I’ll just leave this review here and eat elsewhere. Thanks for the short-changing and please pay your employees enough to put pride in their work… management is obviously too greedy to do so.

Another great spot for amazing food! We ordered three items and were extremely pleased with each dish. We choose the Shoyu Chicken Plate, the Curry Bowl with Fried Chicken, and a side of Pineapple-Cabbage Slaw.

I’ve been having bad luck at restaurants in Portland as far as customer service and food quality go. Let me tell you something…this place is incredible! When I’m feasting on their delectable food, it takes me back to my week in Kona. The Mac salad has a very subtle twist to it. It’s so good!

Overall decor and style of place is good, has an inviting atmosphere, on the other hand seems lacking of love with the food.
