Ate at Atchafalaya Saefood in Picayune. Ordered delicious boiled crawfish, potatoes and boiled whole garlic with garlic butter and french bread. Crawfish are not too spicy hot–I will be coming back for more boiled crawfish!

How do I eat the bolied cloves of garlic? Order a side order of french bread, and spread it on the bread like butter and, also add garlic butter to your garlic bread–so delicious!

Servers were very nice, but slow because servers were overloaded with customers because of packed house. Five minutes before I finished eating, I ask for my check and waited patiently for 15 more minutes after to get my check and process. Two Managers/owners saw me waiting and never came to ask if I needed help.

Taste of crawfish, bread, garlic, garlic butter and dipping sauce was great! Well done, Atchafalaya Seafood.

Came here for the first time with coworkers and Atchafalaya did not disappoint. In fact, it was an amazing experience!

The food is delicious and well made. You can tell by the quality that they really care about their product.

The service was also above and beyond. They were so attentive, friendly, and professional.

I’m from out of town, but now I know where to go when I visit.

Saw a sign for this place on our way home. Its big and open on the inside with a full bar in the center. Food came out fast hot and delicious. Big portions my wife couldn’t eat all her shrimp which was big and juicy. My red fish was fresh and huge

I have visited this place twice, the first time was fine but a year later and what a difference. We were a party of 8 for my sister’s birthday and when I arrived I was told I couldnt be seated until everyone in the party had arrived. We had 3 separate groups coming at different times, with that I was beginning to get discouraged. Then the hostess seemed like she didnt have a clue. I had brought an ice cream cake for us to have after the meal and I was charged $10 for what reason I’m not sure of, you may think to store in their refrigerator/freezer but you’d be wrong because an ice cream cake that was completely frozen and in big letters stating it was an ice cream cake on the box, must have just been left on a counter somewhere because when It was brought to the table it was a lovely $32 melted cake and I mean melted a total loss. So I paid them $10 for what? Our waitress brought our drinks sat them on the edge of the table and handed them to me to pass out. She was constantly reaching over us and seemed to be in a rush to get us out of there because while we were still eating she’s asking how many boxes we needed???? The shrimp were hot but the fries were cold. She had no clue we had brought a cake and was put off by that asking did we tell the hostess, ofcourse I did, as I said before she was clueless it was all over her face.

I dont know if there are a bunch of new people working since we were there last but something has changed and not for the better. I dont hardly ever write reviews but I was so ticked about the cost of the cake and the charge for having it there only to have a melted mess when it came time to sing, I had to say something. I won’t be back again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Visited this restaurant on 8/17/25. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Restaurant appeared to have a very clean appearance which was confirmed by staff constantly cleaning. Not too much noise inside. The charbroiled Oysters had a great taste and I will be ordering more of these on the next visit. Ordered the seafood platter with crawfish potatoe salad – at 1st I doubted this potatoe salad but it ended up tasting great with a light spicy kick to it. The seafood platter was also great and had enough food for two people to share. The fried red boiled potatoes were okay. The egg rolls were hot and fresh and actually had a good taste also. The bar drinks were mixed well and it was no complaints on those.

I heard that this place is under new ownership, we’re from out of state so we don’t really know much of the details of that. But it has to be the reason why this place doesn’t have a freaking five star review… Because OMG! First of all, our server, Mariah was absolutely amazing! Like I have never had a server this amazing before. And we’ve had some pretty amazing servers so if you go, make sure you ask for our girl…

Now onto the appetizers… These were the best appetizers we’ve ever had anywhere. We got the fried pickles, fried mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was literally amazing… And the cheese pulled on those mozzarella sticks did not disappoint! Lol.

Then we ordered our dinner and we all got a variety of different things and there was no complaints from that either! I got the AYCE Crap Legs, which right now are $49.99 on Thursdays. 10/10 so good!

My Granny ordered the Ribeye steak and it was SO GOOD.

Overall our experience was wonderful and we would absolutely return!!

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The only issue, not really an issue, was our waitress, Holly. She had long dark red hair. She was different from the start, coming to our table after we had been sitting there for a while and asking if someone had been over here, we responded no, and she proceeded to ask what we wanted to drink. Now she was the only waitress we saw in the area our entire visit, and the restaurant had pretty much cleared out when we arrived. Anyway, she never backed up to greet us or even introduce herself. My dad ordered lemonade, and my mother and I wanted water. She said they only had bottle water. We asked if there was a charge, she responded that she didn’t know. Moving on, we ordered our food: onion rings, catfish platter, shrimp platter, and a blackened catfish plate with jambalaya. Everything thing was delicious, and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp were jumbo, plentiful and fried to perfection, and the Cajun fried potatoes left me wanting more. Fast forward to the bill, be paid with cash, including enough for her tip. She wasn’t the best, but still tipped her. She took the money, said NOTHING. We were still sitting there when she finally came back out and she still said nothing, no did you need change, nor thank you have a great day. At that point, I wish I had given her tip to the nice young lady who delivered the food and the young man who I believed would have cleared off the table. As we left, both of them thanked us for coming and wished up a nice evening, as well as the hostesses. Because I didn’t get her name at the beginning, I had to ask her name before leaving to include in this review. I would definitely love to visit again, but by no means would I want Holly to be my waitress. Located in the old Ryan’s building in Picayune, MS., the inside has been beautifully renovated, with a bar and plenty of seating, especially for large parties. A great place to watch some football on Sundays as well.

Dropped in to avoid a thunderstorm on the highway. Very pleasantly surprised!

Gumbo and seafood salad were delicious. Husband said his ribeye was tender and juicy, maybe a bit past his ideal medium rare, but we both left happy! Neither of us could finish our entrees, as much as we hated to leave it.

Cajun music was at a pleasant volume and catchy!

We loved our visit here! The atmosphere is lively, open, and warm. Service was great! Food was awesome!

Party of 4. We got the onion rings and they were delish! Then 2 of us got a boil with snow crab, shrimp, and dungeness crab. So so good! 1 got gumbo and a crab cake and loved it. The other person got the BBQ shrimp stuffed baked potato. She loved it. 3 of us added side salads and they were cold, crisp, and delicious.

Very pleased with our experience!
