This is our very first experience of Indian food and, of all places, we tried it in Thailand. Our lovely family that lives here in Hua Hin brought us here and we were extremely impressed with the service and the delicious food. They chose all the dishes since we had no idea what to order. Every single dish was delicious, the portions and ingredients were just perfect for the 4 of us. First we had fried papadums with dipping sauce and tandoori chicken tikka. Our main dishes were chicken biryani, mutton vindaloo, aloo gobi, vegetable pulao rice and garlic naan…. don’t think you would go wrong with anything you order from here. The chef, his wife and the staff were helpful and friendly.
A real hidden gem for Indian food in Hun Hin. It was a good setting in a remote and unexpected place of Hua Hin.

The food was delicious, the seating comfortable.

As with many restaurants in Hua Hin, I found that the cooking smoke ever so faintly penetrates the air conditioned dining area; this may be due to inadequate ventilation in the kitchen. I understand regulations are much laxer in Thailand, and it wasn’t a big issue.

As for the food: the veg pakoras were crispy and flavourful. I would have liked my vindaloo to be spicier (hotter) as I had specifically asked for a spicy one. It wasn’t really spicy at all. But very tasty anyway. I will be back.

This is still one of my top 2 favorite Indian restaurants in the city. Taste, texture, and consistency are always top-tier. For tourists, it’s a bit of a ride out, but absolutely worth it

I’ve passed Atcha a number of times; always saying to myself, “self, we gotta check this place out sometime.” Well after nearly 3 months “sometime” had finally arrived. Pulling in I found ample parking and an inviting atmosphere. There are areas for dining, both, outdoors and in. The dining room, a large and open space offers tables positioned well enough apart and welcomes you with tasteful decor as well as many interesting works of Indian art. It feels impeccably clean. Now let’s talk food. While I’ve never been impressed by Indian food in Thailand, as it’s usually too spicy, herein lies the exception. My girlfriend ordered the chicken biryani, extra spicy, (she’s Thai.) I found it quite delicious. Spicy? For sure, but not the usual challenge Indian cuisine has proven itself to be, time and again, here in Thailand. I opted for the butter chicken, prepared a little spicy. Well I guess I’ve become acclimated to Thai cooking, because I wished it had been a bit more spicy…lol. Anyway, we tried 5 different items and each was better than the one before. I can honestly say that this is the best Indian food I can recall having ever tasted anywhere…including Sri Lanka and Malaysia. We haven’t stopped talking about it and plan to visit again very soon. Oh, I must add, the prices are very reasonable too.

Absolutely delicious Indian food, definitely among the best I’ve tried in my 4 years in Thailand. It’s worth the excursion if you’re staying on the beach, and very convenient to the highway if you’re passing through HH. Happy, engaging staff workout a lovely venue with quiet, garden grove views.

Wow… Just truly wonderful!

I’ve never experienced an Indian meal like this.

The restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, it’s extremely basic but it’s clean and well organized.

The service from the Nepal waiter was spot on with attentiveness and warmth. The lady popping in and out of the kitchen was lovely, very kind and genuine.

The food took quite a long time… This is a luxury problem as it’s guaranteed to be cooked from scratch and this is confirmed when eating. Very high quality and perfect balance of spice and flavour.

The chef came out at the end and struck me…I can see in his eyes pure honestly and passion with being humble at the same time. A truly great experience with wonderful humble owners cooking delicious food!

Well worth the trip on the back streets to find.
