I ordered a water & baked ziti with meatballs. When my lunch arrived I thought the meatballs looked dry but after tasting them, while they did look dry on the outside, they were moist and tasted delicious. The rest of the entree was a disappointment. I didn’t feel as though there was enough sauce on the ziti, it tasted overcooked and the layers of cheese on top had baked too long. So long it was hard to break off and enjoy in one bite – ziti, meatball and cheese all in one taste. The toasted bread needed more butter as it was just dry toast to me.
I had plenty of leftovers and tried to pawn them off on my husband for dinner. While he did eat it all he also made mention that even after heating it up in the microwave, the cheese was still hard to eat.
Our server either had too many tables or just doesn’t believe in refilling water. I had hopes that if my glass only had ice in it she would take that as a hint to refill it. It was not to be and I had to hunt down a drink soon as we left the restaurant.
All in all, this isn’t a place I would return to. I liked the atmosphere and the transparent kitchen, it just isn’t a place I would spend anymore money in.
Now the food… ♀️
All of the food came out luke warm not hot at all & I’ve been to a Italian restaurant just like this one with the kitchen being the center of attention & all of my food has came out piping hot but here not so much..
The soup was good, like a 4.5/10
The Shrimp Alfredo presentation was ok it wasn’t a lot of food on the plate, which was a disappointment, but yea… THE TASTE… 0/10 it was pretty much bland bland.. like not even salt was added to the dish…
Lasagna 6/10 .. was bland had added salt & pepper to it.. it became a 7/10
Had one dish that a different waiter came to switch out became someone didn’t quite like their dish and wanted to try something else because they quoted it was “nasty” granted they could’ve just not had said that but they did anyway & a different waiter had said they never tried it & don’t plan on trying it with an attitude/humor maybe behind it.. It’s kind of as if she even thinks the food here is either not good or something worse… after hearing that I had already eaten half of the food because again it was a typical bland meal.. just add some salt & call it a day type of thing.. but hearing that just made me sick like wow if ur employees don’t like that food, then why serve it to us…
But yea, unfortunately, here was a NO for me.. I won’t be coming back here, honestly.. just passing through..
The food is always made with care and quite delicious. Never been disappointed no matter what I’ve ordered.
Besides the kitchen crew, the waitstaff is attentive and takes great care to do an amazing job. Even with a busy Sunday crowd they perform well under pressure.
