Chef Pablo, a finalist in Romanian Master Chefs’ TV series ‘Chefs On Knives’, having honed his skills now wants to share his passion for food through this his first restaurant opened in 2024 in an idyllic location At The Marina in Devizes, Wiltshire. We started our business in 2021 with The Good Food Van to provide an enjoyable on the go experience to Devizes and the surrounding areas in Wiltshire. Through our experience and dedication, we’ve managed to become masters of our craft, creating dishes that are fresh, hearty and have simply unforgettable flavour.

What an incredible experience.
I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — the atmosphere, the service and especially the food.
The seafood was absolutely exceptional. Every element on the plate was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and full of flavour. You can clearly see the care, quality and passion behind every dish. The desserts were also outstanding and the perfect way to finish such a fantastic meal.
The setting overlooking the marina makes the experience even more memorable. It’s a beautiful, relaxed and welcoming place to enjoy great food.
I also had a lovely conversation with one of the chefs (possibly the owner). He asked where I was from and when I said I’m Brazilian he kindly asked me to leave a review. I’m very happy to do so because this place truly deserves recognition.
I have eaten in many restaurants in different countries and I can genuinely say this was one of the most impressive dining experiences I’ve had.
Congratulations to the entire team — you are doing something very special here.
If you are anywhere near this area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be coming back.

We came tonight for dinner. Little place with amazing view. Food is absolutely fantastic as you can see on the photos. Owner is no nice and chatty. I felt like taking with best friend Chef Pablo you are the best and im certain to say that A the marina restaurant is the best restaurant by miles and i will be back for sure.

At the Marina is a fantastic spot with amazing food, friendly staff, and a lovely view. The Blue Cheese Beef Burger and Italian Chicken Burger were both top-notch – full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The baby squid was also excellent. Everything is freshly made by Chef Pablo, a finalist on Romania’s Chefi la cuțite. Highly recommend for a great meal by the water!

This place is run by a former winner of the romanian Master chef of all things, and yeah the food is pretty outstanding. We had the scallops and the squid as entrees, were really very good, and a burger and the sirloin as the mains. I was pleasantly surprised with the burger which came with pesto sauce, a real treat. The venue was kid friendly and overall we had a great time.

It was a birthday lunch surprise from wife, we turn up and the restraunt looks like a well dressed summer house, I was thinking where the hell has she bought us
I should have known better because my wife has excellent taste, and she didn’t disappoint.
I’ve eaten in some Michelin star and three rosette establishments and this little place certainly deserves some recognition.
Tapas is only served on Thursdays but we’re looking forward to trying the rest of there offering.
If you can’t tell already we highly recommend paying a visit.

From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience.
The location is simply stunning, with the café sitting right on the marina. Whether you’re inside or out on the decking, the peaceful waterside setting makes for a perfect dining experience. It’s clearly popular, as almost every table was full when I visited!
Now, the food… WOW.
I love a good burger, and these were on another level! The portion sizes are generous, making this incredible value for money. Since it was my first time, I went all in and ordered two different burgers—and I have zero regrets. Each bite was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying.
The magic in these burgers? Pablo, the head chef, who I understand placed second in MasterChef Romania—and it shows. His skill, creativity, and attention to detail shine through in every dish.
The menu does change from time to time, but if the food I had is anything to go by, you’re in for a treat no matter what’s on offer.

The place in Devizes to go for Breakfast…and lunch too ! What a little find and gem, the food is presented very well and you can tell from the great ingredients that much love was put into the creation of each dish.
I have had the pleasure of trying the breakfast, burger and also fiah dishes. All were superb!
The venue it self is surrounded by the backdrop of the marina, and on a sunny day it just adds to the positive vibes from the location. Chef Pablo and team, be very proud, you all deserve it!

Thursday is Tapas night! So yummy. We shared Chargrilled Steak & Chips with Gravy (£9); Pork Medallions, Chirizo & Potatoes Parmentier (£8) and Munchable Spinach Bites (£5.5). Deliciously satisfying. Admittedly, we have smaller appetites in the evening so getting the quality and variety is a rare treat. Call to reserve a table to be sure.

Only just found this little gem, went for the Tapas which is currently only served on Thursday lunchtimes and evenings. Clean, nice atmosphere and great food and service. Accept dogs too. On a warmer day I’d choose to sit outside and look at the barges moored in the marina. Recommend the meatballs and ham croquettes. Will be returning for tapas and to try their breakfast options. Only slight bummer is you have to walk across the car park to find the loo but not a deal breaker for me.
