Unfortunately, this establishment has declined in both quality and professionalism. The venue appeared extremely understaffed, which led to long delays and poor service. I waited nearly an hour for the bottle I purchased and had to repeatedly get up to locate staff just to receive assistance.

I paid $150 for a bottle, which did not include sparklers, signage, or any acknowledgment, despite it being my birthday. When the bottle finally arrived, the chasers were served in small 8-ounce cups for a group of more than ten people, which was disappointing and inadequate.

Additionally, I paid a $20 entry fee, which made the overall experience feel even more unjustified given the level of service provided.

Overall, the experience did not meet professional standards, especially for the price. I was hoping to enjoy and support a Black-owned business, but the lack of organization, attentiveness, and customer care made this a very disappointing visit. I will not be returning and would not recommend this establishment to others .

For it to be “unlimited” mimosas, but you have to catch a waiter to be served and even with that, they make you feel like your disturbing them. As far as the buffet, which is served by one individual, they are very stingy with the meats, giving one piece of chicken or fish when you only want these options. The atmosphere can be very uncomfortable and smokey as you can freely smoke whatever you desire. Eventhough this is a club, but I feel during brunch hours these type of activities should be limited.

For the most part, I had a very positive experience, here. A few of the pictures I included in this group are of vacant buildings that are immediately adjacent or they are facing the actual establishment. I just want to give viewers a bird’s eye view of what the total experience will be like for them. Now, as far as my service in this location: Taisha (sp?) was my server for the afternoon. One of my sisters received a recognition from an organization she was involved with recently and we went there to have lunch and to celebrate her accomplishment. Overall, Tyesha did a very fine job helping us. She was a tad slow, though, but that’s to be expected considering the fact that she was working the bar, working tables, and doing a zillion other things trying to service several people all at the same time, all by her lonesome. What does that mean? Well, it means that they are probably short-staffed and need to hire more servers, or because it’s such a new establishment, they probably can’t afford more than one server at the moment. They have a very nice menu of food items to choose from. As you’ll see from my photos, all of us had very different meals. Since I became a pescatarian this year, as of January 1st 2019, I was pleased to be able to get a meal that had fish. I ordered some fish fillets with fries. And for $12, I received a huge plate of food! There were three full size fish fillets and a plate full of hot, fresh seasoned french fries. The bonus items included cut onions and sliced pickles. Awesomeness! Two of my sisters had two kinds of chicken wings: one had what appeared to be honey barbecue wings and the other had hot wings. I forgot what my mother had! LOL… But, there was another woman with us who’s a friend of the family. She ordered some dish that was a seafood platter / Seafood sampler of sorts. It had crab legs, a Lobster Claw, two or three kinds of chopped sausages, potatoes and maybe something else. All of these items were steamed together in a huge bag! And for those who love Seafood, I have to tell you that this will definitely be a dish you should consider! Unfortunately, I only thought to get a picture of it after she had already begun eating most of it. Also, the decor of the restaurant is pretty unique. Many of the bar seats are actually swings that hang from the ceiling! I haven’t seen that anywhere, yet. If for nothing else, you should absolutely go there just to experience the bar seats. They also have frozen drinks! And for me, I love strawberry daiquiris. Since I’m a bit of a lightweight alcoholic Drinker, and I prefer the sweeter things, I was pleased to see that they had a variety of drinks from which to choose. My only criticism is that the parking situation on their lot is a bit odd and ambiguous. This is one of the reasons why I’m only giving them four stars. When one arrives at the establishment for the first time, it’s clear that the vehicles are all on an angle. That would suggest that one should enter the parking lot from the opposite side of the building. However, there is no entrance or exit from the parking lot on the opposite side of the building. As a result of this, it’s very difficult to leave out of the space. We were very lucky when we got there because it wasn’t very crowded that day. And even though there were several people there, we still had enough space on the parking lot to get out. However, I would imagine that on busier days, if they have those, it’s probably a nightmare to leave that place considering the angles that they require the vehicles to be parked at. This needs to change! Also, the men’s restroom needs to be updated or fixed. The stalls don’t have doors! So, for a man who wishes to go in there and sit on the throne, he will have no privacy whatsoever. This is problematic! That, too, needs to change. And even though the restaurant is in the downtown St Louis area, essentially in the hood, and while there are vacant buildings around and near the establishment, please don’t let that deter you from what would essentially be a very positive experience!

Was so excited to support this black owned business. Beautiful decor, decent food (buffet style and mostly cold), extremely slow service and not family friendly, and mimosas served in cheap plastic cups instead of a glass. Showed up at 11:30am with my family and waited 1 hour just to eat and drink after $125 to get in because they weren’t set up yet even though their website says they open at 11. Not at all like the experience I saw on Instagram when I decided to come. Overall food was okay but would do brunch elsewhere.

Sooooo, after arriving at 11:15am we were informed that they were not open! We stood outside for about 15 minutes before the “security guard ” told us we could go in.
After waiting another 10 minutes a woman appeared and informed us that children weren’t normally allowed but since we had waited they would make an exception. She fumbled with the register for another 10 minutes or so before telling us “the register was not working ” and could we cashapp the cost of the brunch!!! AKWARD

We agreed, paid the $125 (2 adult, $40 3 kids $15 ) . After passing thru medal detectors we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. THE PLACE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY except for a bunch of staff standing around, sitting around or smoking hookah. We attempted to get food from the buffet only to be told “they still weren’t ready and they would let us know”. We went back to the table and contemplated leaving but at that point we had already paid and invested 45 minutes! PISSED AND STARVING

We asked if we could have our mimosas and AGAIN …..after waiting another 15 minutes the bartender called me over to the bar to pick up our drinks……which were in plastic cups! I asked if we could have them in glasses and she was nice about it and complied with my request.

We were FINALLY told we could eat!!! Literally after waiting a solid hour!!!! We were served and when my grown daughter asked for two lamb chops the lady told her “it’s 1 pet visit cause we ain’t really got that much”!!! WOW

I will say, even though the food was barley warm and the lamb was waaaaay overcooked, the rest of the food was pretty tasty! We all went back for seconds, the seafood pasta being my favorite . YUMMY

Overall, the atmosphere was adorable and the food good, we probably won’t be back. Not sure why or how you have an adult only brunch but at least make that clear in your advertising. The wait was unacceptable, however the staff was polite and apologized repeatedly. I found it strange that literally NO ONE else showed up and when we left at 1pm, the place was still empty (except staff sitting around eating) Wierd and awkward. We probably won’t go back unless invited by SOMEONE ELSE or unless it’s for a specific event. BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS:

DO BETTER!!!

Very nice place and atmosphere. Beautiful. Was there for my cousin’s engagement party. I ordered wings of course but i ordered hot and ended up with one of my cousins sweet wings. I was hungry and kept eating them. They were good. My man couldn’t get jumbo shrimp because they ran out and they took forever with his food. They gave him 12 regular shrimp in place of the 6 jumbo shrimp which they asked first. My food was so bomb. The fries were seasoned to perfection and since its only 4 wings and fries its perfect for me to eat it all with no left overs for only$6. Most definitely will be going back for wings and to try their crab legs and brunch.

Like others I let the bad reviews deter me from checking this place out sooner which was huge mistake. The service was slow but the servers were definitely trying their best. I have to shoutout the support staff stepping in too trying to help out. Particularly the security guard Jevar went above and beyond making sure we were up to date on the status of our order even got us our pitcher for mimosas. I had the skillet and crab legs. The food was pretty good I just would have added a tad more seasoning especially for the crab legs they needed that good ol’ Louisiana Crawfish and shrimp boil seasoning. You can’t beat bottomless mimosas for $10 especially when they are giving what needs to be given! They actually wound up switching back to the brunch buffet because the kitchen was backed up and all of the options looked delicious. The DJ was definitely a vibe and the icing on the cake for anyone looking for a “black brunch spot”. I’d definitely come back again this place has a lot of potential. I’d also consider renting this as a venue space it’s very spacious and I love the swings. Check it out for yourself cause I was pleasantly surprised! I’d also recommend getting there early. There wasn’t a wait but just in case the kitchen gets backed up.

It was jam packed, it was a vibe, it was ghetto fabulous. I would say the appropriate age range is 30-35 and under. It’s $40 to enter with bottomless mimosas. The food was good and it’s a buffet of options from breakfast to lunch. The bottomless mimosas – eh. My favorite part was when the waitress refused to serve us because we didn’t tip her everytime she came to the table. That was cute.

Very pricey $40.00 for unlimited mimosas and buffet it was a $25.00 option which I should have chosen but anyway
Food selection was great
Catfish Salmon fried chicken shrimp and grits eggs macaroni green beans fresh fruit just to name a few it was abundant assortment of good things, my only problem is the loud trap music and it was a night club scene at 11 am , young kids 21 and over dressed for the night time smoking hookah . It is NOT FAMILY friendly
I understand it’s a bar / restaurant but it’s mostly just a bar .
It’s is a nice looking venue but ….. atmosphere is off for brunch for ME you might like it though
